Most people don't even know there is a Guam. Now they do. They might want to visit now.

13 minutes from a NK launch pad and in Kim Jong Un's cross-hairs.

Survivalists will flock there by the thousands :doh

Or, visit Guam?

Cheers.

Yeah because the threat of a nuclear attack is a real selling point when I choose my family vacations.

In his own way I think he was trying to reassure Guam, by not making a big deal of it. He trusts the military, as he should they are the best in the world at what they do. This is a difficult situation for him, it would be difficult for anyone, and one i don't think he expected to have to deal with. When's the last time anyone threatened anyone with a Nuke? And as much as I want to see him gone, I don't think it's a good idea to attack him while he's dealing with it. For one, he's likely got some form of ADD, and he needs to focus on the situation and not a bunch of people questioning every single move. And secondly NK can see everything we say to him, which is why they are starting this bull**** now. They see a weak President, easily manipulated. NK's biggest fear is that the US will someday swoop in and end their party. Now is their best chance to ensure that will never happen. They know they can never win a war with us, but they hurt relations between us and China. They saber rattle with the Nukes, get Trump to make a fool of himself, and then watch the US vehemently oppose war with NK because China's threatening to turn off the supply of cheap junk you get from ebay. Which is why I'm glad President Xi personally talked with Trump and explained China's position on NK. And that Trump seems to have a pretty good relationship with Xi. Because let's be honest here, one of Trump's strengths is his ability to charm people he wants something from, in person. He wined and dined Xi, showed Xi a great deal of trust and respect, reversed just about everything he said on China despite the heat he'd get from it, and probably made some business deals with Xi in private conversations. In other words, this is the most likely time China will ever help us on this. Which they've already stated they won't support NK if they attack first. They've never stated that before, that's kind of a big deal.

Which is why, I'm not going to criticize Trump on this, no matter how much he blusters. Because I trust the military, and Trump will probably do whatever they recommend. Which is the right move. He just needs to avoid commenting on the situation, and letting his state department handle the message to send to NK.

How do I know he will follow the military's lead? Because of his strategy for the middle east. Increase commander autonomy, and loosen the reigns on the military. He wouldn't do that if he didn't think the military knew what it was doing. Which they do.

I thought NK wasn't a threat?

Trump and his supporters need to stop making claims about what most people don't know.

Well, if you look at the story and you take a look at what they said, there's great confusion. Nobody really knows.

Go ask some random people the street what a Guam is. Then get back to me, or not. It seems my humor is a bit subtle for people.

In this case, your comments were just retarded not funny.

I had a lot of buddies who were stationed in Guam, and two younger friends who are stationed there now.

They all love the place.
