He's started his own station streaming through facebook. His daughter-in-law is on it and a trump pundit on CNN quit her job there to join fluffing trump on his "Please worship me!" network. They are calling it "Real News".

Here's RCP averages and the polls which make up those averages.

The latest Rasmussen poll does have Trump at 45%. But the Gallup poll taken through the same time period 8-10 August shows Trump at 37%. The Gallup poll included all adults (A) while the Rasmussen poll was only Likely Voters (LV). That explains some of the eight point difference as the two polls interviewed two different segments of our society. Likely Voters polls tend to favor the Republicans, pro Trump, while the All Adults tend to favor the Democrats, anti-Trump.
The easiest way is just to go by the average which is 38.1%. That is the one I follow. Averaging also tends to off set skewed polls.

Taking the RCP average is the best bet.
Last November it predicted that Clinton would smack Trump in the PV, which she did so easily.
However, it could not predict the 77k voters in MN WI and MI that provided the victory for Trump.
