How will the Donald Trump presidency end? It will end badly, so let me count the ways:

1. America is hurtling towards a constitutional crisis that will rock its institutions to the core.

2. Its president and his business empire will soon be exposed as beholden to Russian oligarchs and mobsters.

3. Trump will try to fire special counsel Robert Mueller to prevent this from becoming known, but Congress will intervene.

4. His only remaining hope will be a 9/11-scale disaster or contrived war that he can exploit.

5. If we are lucky enough to survive all of the above, Trump will resign before he is impeached — but only in exchange for a pardon from his servile vice-president, Mike Pence.

He's just going to keep on going for eight years and wait the anti everything Trump bozo's out.

Do you have a crystal ball you can peer into the future with or something? Because I don't.

We have no idea how Trump's presidency will end. For all we know, aliens could invade at the end of his presidency.

He won't run again. He hates the job. He's using his 4 years to drum up business for his golf courses and hotels. That's why he always golf at his golf clubs. It's like free advertising.

If Mueller gets the goods on Trump, Trump will do what Netanyahu is doing now--cry witch hunt and persecution. He probably won't resign gracefully like Nixon. He'll go all the way through the impeachment vote.

But I think the best outcome is for Trump to do his 4 years and return to swindling people in the private sector.

And as Americans get off food stamps, job opportunities increase, and the economy continues growing, leftists will lose more seats and still be whining about Russia/DJT/DJT Russia repeat.

Yeah, now that Trump is president the economy is good again. It was "a mess" under Obama but 6 months later, without any policy changes, it's all turned around.

Conservatives sound really dumb when they talk about Trump's economic achievements. Obama's last 6 months have the same jobs numbers as Trump's first 6 months. Romney promised 6% unemployment Obama got it under 5% all without tweeting nonsense all day.

Why you guys admit that Obama inherited an economy in recession but he turned it around? I can give Reagan credit why can't you give Obama credit?

In 2024, after the Dems. get spanked in the 2020 election because they tried to run on an exclusively negative anti-Trump platform and the American people told them to go away they finally learn the lesson of the last two failed elections and run an overwhelmingly positive campaign. Unfortunately for them, they've left such a bitter taste in the mouths of the electorate than the Reps. win handily with an equally positive message and 8 years of economic, political and global success to back themselves up. That's how Pres. Trump will leave office...

Your ending is a tad more unenlightened if much more exciting than that of the article.

I think that's a pretty accurate analysis. Most of this will probably come to pass within the next 5-8 months. Although point 4 seems to be point 2 atm. Most of the warnings/predictions/leaks made about Trump (other than him winning of course) have turned out correct

That is the stuff of fantasy novels. Won't happen.

What goods could Mueller get on Trump?

What has he done during his Presidency to get impeached?

CONGRESS is what drives the economy to a FAR greater extent than the President. So it's not 6 months, it's more like 4 years (6 if you look at the market response to the obvious trend of the Reps. gaining control of Congress).

Where do you get the idea that it has to happen during his Presidency?

Is the latest fall back position for die hard Trumpers?

No, really we are not, not unless unlikely events happen, which could be said in any presidency.
2. Its president and his business empire will soon be exposed as beholden to Russian oligarchs and mobsters.

Pure speculation, without actual fact to back it up.
3. Trump will try to fire special counsel Robert Mueller to prevent this from becoming known, but Congress will intervene.

More speculation.

4. His only remaining hope will be a 9/11-scale disaster or contrived war that he can exploit.

Or he could just ride the Obama economy. People tend to vote on economic issues more than any other.

5. If we are lucky enough to survive all of the above, Trump will resign before he is impeached — but only in exchange for a pardon from his servile vice-president, Mike Pence.

More speculation, based on what you hope is true.

If democrats want to get Trump out of office, and I know as a democrat, I do, then what we need to do is work on getting ready to defeat him in 2020, and not spend a lot of time spinning ridiculous birther/truther style conspiracy nonsense.

That is the stuff of fantasy novels. Won't happen.

We're already seeing the beginnings of what I'm predicting. The Dems. are pushing an overwhelmingly negative message and as many attacks on the President as possible. People are getting tired of this kind of crap and I think that the next couple of elections are going to hinge on attitude more than anything. Clinton lost primarily due to her "deplorables" comment and the Dem.s seem hell-bent on repeating that same kind of mistake, while the Reps. are pushing a far more positive message.

High crimes and misdemeanors

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct peculiar to officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, unbecoming conduct, and refusal to obey a lawful order.

All of that has to happen while in office.

You are going to be awfully disappointed when Flynn and Manforte are the only chips to fall. I think conservatives are way past the nice guy stage and are going to force Mueller to come up with something more dastardly than what Clinton, Inc, has yet to face justice for. The republicans are going to go on a PR rampage, and appoint a special counsel to investigate every one of Mueller's lawyers that ponied up the the Clinton Foundation.

I agree. BO's dismal performance for 7 1/2 yrs was rough on the middle class and that's how long it took for BO to get off his backside and do something. DJT did it in 6 months and now America is getting back to work, off food stamps, and becoming self-reliant again. All of which sucks for the left but is wonderful for the country. So as good things happen the left is still stuck on how horrible DJT/Russia/Russia/DJT is, how DJT puts ketchup on his steak after having two scoops of vanilla ice cream.

One thing for certain. If a real crisis hits, and people rally around DJT, the left is toast for a while.

It doesn't have to be during your presidency. The Clinton White Water investigation was about deals Clinton made before he was president.

If they find Trump was laundering money for Russians that means he's compromised. Our president can't be indebted to a foreign power. It also means he must have lied on various forms he filled out. That's a crime.

----

Here is what is likely to happen:

1. Mueller will dig something up.
2. Mueller will have Trump give a sworn deposition like Clinton did.
3. Trump will purger himself.
4. Trump will be impeached for perjury and whatever else Mueller digs up.

The End

Do you remember or have you read it in a book?

here did you get the idea he was laundering money for the Russians?

Has that even been brought up in this case?

So you are hanging your hat on perjury?

Can you send me that crystal ball you lefties have?

I need to know what is going to happen tomorrow and Friday.

Thanks

This is why I think the left is doing a good job and, in keeping with a positive attitude, encourage and support them in spreading their message.
