Any Trump supporters here in Trump rooms?

Good point about the Stones - but they are in a class by themselves - okay a few more. These are prime years for Rock and I really don't think he is going to take the better part of six years off that money making tour...... and besides why alienate at least half of your potential audience?

Until he gets an FEC #, he's not serious. His web site is just a merchandise one right now. Sound familiar? MAGA hats! You know that rural Michiganders love his blunt, outrageous style.

On another note, DEMs have a shot at several GOP CDs in MI. We can't flip the state legislature this term but must bite into it to win in 2020. At this point, I see 8 DEMs and 5 GOPs running for governor. Crazy huh ?

Well, we will find out.

I was struck by the entire structure of these Trump rooms designed only to reinforce true believers and keep out anybody who might dare upset their delusional dream world. I found that a bit disturbing that these Trumpkins are so fragile that they need their secretive safe places to protect them from big bad non-Trumpkins.

What? You say trump folks need a safe space? Say it ain't so...

Trump gets a folder full of positive news about himself twice a day

Twice a day since the beginning of the Trump administration, a special folder is prepared for the president. The first document is prepared around 9:30 a.m. and the follow-up, around 4:30 p.m. Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer both wanted the privilege of delivering the 20-to-25-page packet to President Trump personally, White House sources say.

These sensitive papers, described to VICE News by three current and former White House officials, don’t contain top-secret intelligence or updates on legislative initiatives. Instead, the folders are filled with screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful.

One White House official said the only feedback the White House communications shop, which prepares the folder, has ever gotten in all these months is: “It needs to be more ****ing positive.” That’s why some in the White House ruefully refer to the packet as “the propaganda document.”

Trump seems to be quite the fragile snowflake.

Greetings, MaggieD. :2wave:

I don't know about Hilary supporters, but I have three granddaughters under the age of five - two of them live in Texas - that would love that room! I'd like to send that picture to their mom, if it's okay with you....

Oh, of course, my goodness. That's actually off the brokenhearts.com website.

Without going back to TG right now, they ask the 'neighbors' question. Also, they use a certain polling technique long ruled illegal, but now passing mustard with the courts. Just don't remember it off-hand but will check later.

For all the 'STATE' approval polls, the only ones that matter, I just type in ______ polls, and the hits just keep on coming. States that trump flipped, and the close red states like AZ, NC, TX, GA; show a disturbing pattern for GOP approvals, such as generic house vote ...

But you can't get past the truth Nimby.

Almost every state and national poll as well as most pundits said Trump would never run for President. He did.
Then they said he wouldn't win a single primary. He did.
Then they said he would never ever be the GOP nominee. He was.
And then they said he would never ever win over Hillary. He did.

So I don't have to be hit over the head with a 2 x 4. A blind squirrel finds a nut now and then so it is possible that a poll will get it right here and there mostly by pure accident. I just don't take my marching orders or shape my values or sense of right and wrong or trust a great deal in the polls especially when they are conducted by people who really REALLY desire a particular outcome for those polls and get it.

When it comes to President Trump, if CNN or ABC or the New York Times or any other of the dedicated 'let's all hate Trump' sources actually show a poll that is any way favorable for him or his positions, those we can probably believe.

Oh and I never heard of those Twitter rooms in the OP and won't be checking them out either.

Are they anything like Hillary supporters need?

LOL. If that gray was darker, more a charcoal, and the pink a hotter pink, you would have had the popular charcoal and pink colors of the 1950's. But things are more subtle, muted, and indefinite now aren't they.

I have no idea about those Trump rooms mentioned in the OP though. I do follow numerous personalities on Twitter, including the President, and never knew those rooms existed. And for some reason I simply am not intrigued enough to check them out, even though I would be considered a Trump supporter by the Trump haters.

Trafalgar Group out of Georgia had 47 states correct, missing on NH and NV for trump and WI for Clinton, cancelling 10 EVs each way, exactly hitting 306-232. I don't advise you look at their current state polls.

As for your continued meme about trump hate, how quick you are to forget what I've seen in my lifetime with GOP hatred towards both Obamas, all three Clintons, Carter and his daughter; the list is endless as I know you know deep down;

trump gins up his own hate; he's said as much; he loves being hated one second and wants to be loved the next; a true Jekyll/Hyde; the guy can't even get along with his own GOP lawmakers who put your team in power in DC;

he won't even listen to Kelly, Tillerson, Mattis, McMaster and the rest; I just turned off the lying state dept. spokeswoman; she's as bad as Conway and H. Sanders ;

Have a link to that polling group? I don't recall them being featured on RCP or other polling group collection sites. If they are that good, why aren't they used as a source more?

And imagine that. A Trump hater using the Obamas, Clintons, and Carters as justification for hating, disrespecting, dishonestly maligning Trump. That never ceases to amaze me.

And yes, those who stick their heads in the sand and refuse to even see or hear, much less consider, opinions or observations contrary to their own feel pretty secure in what they believe.

Saw this article this morning

The Secret Twitter Rooms of Trump Nation - POLITICO Magazine

and found it interesting. Are there any Trump supporters here that visit and post in those rooms?

Is the article a fairly accurate description of the sites?

To answer your questions first...

Not me. I don't know.

I'm not really a twitter user and I'm certainly not enough of an activist to spend time doing what those people are doing. I pretty much limit myself to this forum and occasional comments on news articles. I don't follow herds.

On one hand, I wonder how much good this stuff does. Isn't it kind of like an echo chamber? Everyone repeating what everyone else is saying? On the other hand, if it reaches a sizable number of people, I guess it can do some good.

In any case, I see this as similar to what the Mainstream Media does...the echo chamber thing, I mean. Everyone repeating the stuff that others are reporting.

Let's see...on one hand you had "GOP hatred". On the other hand, you have Mainstream Media, Democratic Party, GOP Elite, Hollywood Airheads, various talking potato heads...and, of course, useful idiots...hatred of everyone associated with Trump...including his son. And ALL of these folks have no filters of propriety when it comes to speaking their mind. They've all said some of the most disgusting things I've heard anyone say about a person.

Frankly, NIMBY, I don't think your comparison rises to any sort of parity.
