Mir-A-Lago to hire immigrnat workers

You've just made the case for the reasonableness of HB1 Visas.

Especially if the pay rate (tied to the cost of living) in one's homeland is 1/4 (or less) of what the foreign work offers - these (exploited?) folks can basically earn a year's pay (or more) in a 3 month period. These positions also normally include a "free" bunkhouse and cafeteria package since they often exist in relatively high cost (tourist) areas.

There are still die-hard supporters around that can never admit Trump is unqualified/unethical at best and possibly downright dangerous at worst.
Oh, absolutely, they are just becoming fewer and fewer. There will always be some who will defend him to the bitter end, no matter what.

Shoot, Nixon had some of those, too.

Trump will hire foreign workers to staff Mar-a-Lago this winter | TheHill

Maybe Trump could start practicing what he preaches about putting American workers first.

Like the the 2 or 3 times this same story has been posted, the same reasons hold true. The positions were listed publicly and when no one would fill those positions, they offered them to immigrants. That's how the law surrounding this works. I know that you want o use this to justify your hate of the President, but even the most cursory examination of this story shows that the narrative being pushed is a false one. Add to that the fact that Pres. Trump doesn't run the the day to day operations of ANY of his business ventures and the whole argument falls apart - AGAIN!!

At the same low pay, I'm sure.

Cue his supporters trying to tell us they're pro LEGAL immigration and have no problem importing foreigners to take American jobs. Just stop doing gymnastics, guys, and admit you were conned.
I dont have a problem with legal immigrants, never have but I do think its bad optics for him.

The Trump organization should operate like any business by reacting to competition and maximizing profitability. I would expect no less of them.
