The Court of Mad King Donald is not a presidency. It is an affliction, one that saps the life out of our democratic institutions, and it must be fiercely resisted if the nation as we know it is to survive.

I wish that were hyperbole. The problem is not just that President Trump is selfish, insecure, egotistical, ignorant and unserious. It is that he neither fully grasps nor minimally respects the concept of honor, without which our governing system falls apart. He believes “honorable” means “obsequious in the service of Trump.” He believes everyone else’s motives are as base as his.

...

It gets worse and worse. The past week has marked a succession of new lows.

To your list of his sterling attributes, I would add impulsive and cowardly. The man is also humorless. He laughs and smiles but with derision about others or with pleasure about himself or for show, not with simple amusement.

In the end, Mr Trump will get exactly what he deserves.

My God!

How bad will it get?

Will he use the IRS to restrict First Amendment rights?

Will he use the DOJ to intimidate businesses with the wrong position on unionization?

Will he makes deals with other governments only after they pay 5 million dollars to his spouse for a half hour speech?

Will he institute the use of a private server for his communications and then destroy the contents of the server AFTER they've been subpoenaed?

I'm just trying grasp how crooked this devil will be.

"Your" ... not "You're" Contribution?

Sorry, but I'm correct. "You're", as the contraction for "you are", is correct. I'm (contraction for "I am") pointing out that you dutifully repeat the memes you believe are popular within your view of reality. I don't expect you to do otherwise. You've demonstrated no propensity for anything else.
