Here is the truth. Trump and Ivanka understand that they simply can not make a profit in clothing by bringing their manufacturing back to the US. Their lips service to bring manufacturing back is lip service. There might be a few trends they can hook on to such as Apple looking to bring a little back including some of their suppliers.
As far as labor, they also understand this is becoming a very tight labor market. There are too many lower wage jobs that are not going filled. Part of that is because the labor demographics don't necessarily match the geographical need.
The idea that a lazy man in NY City should want a job in CA or FL is short sighted.
If illegal population is greatly reduced there will be no choice than to increase low wage visas.
Of course DT just uses the RNC talking points and ignores the reality because he can. There are still people who believe it would be more beneficial to spend $500 trillian to round up and deport 11 million illegals rather than one that uses deportation and legal assimilation which would be much much more cost effective and helpful to the low wage businesses that rely on these hard workers.
Tunp knows better but he can lie to his base because they allow him to lie to them. The most honest thing he ever said that was true was, "I could go down to 5th avenue and shoot......."

You are all likely blaming the wrong person. Trump no longer manages his properties. The company is now run by his sons. You can invent anything you like but we have no evidence that it is any other way.
