According to reports this evening, the Trump Administration is looking to fire the recused AG. A name floated as replacement AG is Rudy Giuliani. I thought we had dodged that bullet! Mr. "Do you know where I was on 9/11?" Hang on grimly, Jeff!
 
The executive branch has turned into a giant merry-go-round. America is being taken for a ride. The electorate wanted a celebrity Entertainer, they are getting it.
 
If Sessions won't stop the Russia investigation Trump will find someone who will. Trump still doesn't get it. The investigation will continue. If you enjoyed laundering money from Russian mobsters, it's going to come out. You shouldn't have run for president.

No, you can't fire Mueller and you can't pardon everyone before they've been accused of a crime. And after the are accused it won't be possible politically without being impeached.

Will Trump make it to the end of the year?

Trump will last. Do you honestly think the republicans will do anything at all no matter what comes out? The most damning thing a republican congress will do is say, "I find this deeply disturbing" and then do nothing.
 
Mueller will be fired when he tries to legally get trump's tax returns. Let republic lawmakers own that for the 2018 elections.

DEMs will stay laser focused on a BETTER DEAL for Americans, taking back flyover country and the Upper Midwest .

If it's just Trump that does something bad, I agree, they won't have cause to do anything. They have no ethics, they do not put country first obviously.
If half the public along with many high-profile individuals freak out in a way that makes the current frenzy look like Bedtime with Barney, they will respond to that.

If Trump removes his AG and replaces them, then fires Mueller, all hell will break loose is my guess.

I live in flyover country, aka the home of Reagan Democrats here in IL where Reagan was born, raised and went to college not far from me.

If you're still saying y'all, you're going to get crushed in the house, governors and state leguslatures next year .
 
Now is the time for Republicans to stand up to the president if he tries to fire Sessions and makes a recess appointment.
