Well, 12.5% of the Trump voters certainly appear to be wishing for a do over.

About one in eight people who voted for President Donald Trump said they are not sure they would do so again after witnessing Trump's tumultuous first six months in office, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll of 2016 voters.

I didn't vote for either Trump of Hillary. I doubt that I would change that position, even knowing what I know today.

Knowing what you know now, would you do anything different on that day?

Yes. I'd put a flaming bag of poo outside the front door of the Javitz center, ring the doorbell and hide around a corner to observe the festivities.

Nope, I did that day well.

Oh, I'm sure the effect inside wasn't much different.

I did not vote "for" Donald in November. I also didn't vote "for" Bernie in the primary.

But I recognized the vital need for a strong effective anti-Hillary vote .. and, since there isn't available to us the greatly needed vote-against option to subtract a vote from a candidate ..

.. The best thing I could do was cast my vote next to the names of Donald and Bernie .. really holding my nose tight on the former ..

.. And, I would do it again in a heartbeat .. though I'd be a bit more afraid now of busting a nasal capillary with the Nov 8 redo.

I'd be far more interested to know if we could redo the nomination process all over again, would we still end up with Trump vs Clinton?
Or if it would have been _____________ vs. Sanders?

I'd do the same. Getting Trump in office wasn't about Trump, it was about sending a message.

So go ahead, major parties. Give me another Clinton type. I'll vote for someone worse than Trump next time.

The DNC would have never allowed anyone except Clinton as their nominee.

I wouldn't change my vote. I voted third party, and have a clear conscious for it. It would take quite the candidate for me to vote Republocrat again, and we didn't have anything remotely decent with the last selection from the Main Party.

Sucks Trump won, but when it's **** vs. ****, you're bound to get a big steaming, stinking pile.

The useful idiots might be impressed with that "one in eight" rhetoric. More intelligent, reasoned people...not so much.

I don't think Trump is worried.

Oh...and I wouldn't vote any differently.

Yep. I feel exactly the same way today as I did on the 8th. "If it's one of these two buttheads who you all want...well, then you pick one. I'm sitting this out."

Puritan liberal-type voters will rue the day for decades to come for giving the GOP the USSC. They'll enjoy trump's billionaire cabinet with disasters like DeVos. GOPs are too dedicated of voters to **** up like DEMs.

The stay-at-home puritans cost DEMs senate seats in WI, PA, and NC, costing DEMs the senate. Continued in-fighting could cost DEMs a shot at the house.

My last few years will be spent hoping I see nuclear fusion take off and humans stepping on Mars with further exploration to a moon like Titan .

It's more than just the puritan coffee shop Dude Broh who didn't vote for Hillary. She also had trouble pulling in people like me: the fence sitters or slightly right-leaning types. She also could not pull over the moderate Repub who could not stomach voting for Trump. That's pretty bad, Nimby.

In fact, Trump had more luck pulling in disenchanted Dems than Hillary had winning over actual Dems.

If you don't vote you don't count.

I do not regret voting for Clinton.

As long as liberals are still crying, I know Trump was the best choice, I'll vote Trump next election then Trump jr, then Barron Trump.

Maybe I'll get another chance to vote for him...but as a juror.

When do you think trump will pardon junior ?

Dude - this is NY. That's an everyday occurrence. :)

I'd drink a boat load more. Enough to give me a 4 year stupor.

Too bad you didn't live in MI, AZ, PA, FL, NC or WI.

As for 2018, I see lots of great candidates but the potential for messy primaries.

Especially in your top two primary state where the better general election candidate may not finish top two in the primary.

GOPs also have their primary problems, with Sen. Flake facing a trump-backed candidate .

The 40-year smear campaign against HRC by the GOP worked. We have McCarthy's words on tape to prove Benghazi hearings were about hurting her approvals. Gorsuch is even more extreme far-right than Thomas.

My candidate of choice just after the 2014 massacre was Sen. Gillibrand. I hate to mention her name because the GOP will start smearing her, just as they now do with all their boogiemen like Pelosi and Warren.

Clinton should have taken your Sen. Brown. The problem there is the 10th amendment, where governors in states like MA and OH can choose someone from their party, versus states like AZ where the replacement must come from the departing senator's party. Good old 10th amendment, the civil war amendment .

I was stuck on former two-term president's wife. It also did not help that I did not like the former two-term president. So, for me it was more about not wanting to put Bill back in the WH than anything else.

Had she divorced his sorry ass...well, different ballgame.

Clinton and the democrats at least have a vision were the country stands for something
