But... but... His emails!!!!!!!!11111!!!

Senator Joins Ethics Probe That Could Get EPA Chief Scott Pruitt Disbarred

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt has been caught repeatedly misleading Congress about his use of different email accounts during his six years as Oklahoma’s attorney general.

He said he used just one email, when he actually had two. He sent official correspondence from a personal address, and appeared to deliberately delay public-records requests to cover his tracks before facing a Senate confirmation hearing.

He should receive the toughest penalty possible, but he has some precedent set that this kind of behaviour is ok

He was also so deeply in the pockets of the Energy industry as OK A.G. that he had them draft his letters suing the EPA and then cut and paste them on to OK State letterhead. He also gutted OK's state EPA. Due to the damage fracking has done to his state, OK has more earthquakes now than CA. Oh - and he's also a climate denier. There could be no worse pick that Pruitt for any agency head. Wait! Rick Perry is guarding the country's nukes! <sigh> What a f***ing clown car the orange buffoon has thrust upon the world.

Clinton did far worse, but that was ok for the Libbos.

Unfortunately, the type of behavior you described happens all the time.

California has become the Progressive capital of the United States via legislation and regulations written by alt-left groups, pubic employee unions, and other lobby groups.

Who wrote that bill? Likely a lobbyist

A lobbyist has an idea to make life better - mainly for his client. The lobbyist writes the bill, shops for a lawmaker willing to introduce it and lines up the support. The legislator has to do little more than show up and vote.

Such is the path of the "sponsored bill," a method of lawmaking little noticed outside California's capital but long favored in the halls of the Legislature.

A Mercury News analysis found that in 2007-08, the most recent complete two-year legislative session, more than 1,800 bills — about 39percent — were sponsored by outside interests. Those sponsored bills constituted 60 percent of the legislation actually passed into law.

So, rather than blame a common activity on the President, blame this type of BS on the massive government you want to turn control of your life over to.

I'm well aware that lobbyists help write legislation. That has nothing to do with Pruitt as the Attorney General of Oklahoma deferring his authority to the energy industry.

And I am justified in blaming Trump for appointing someone to the EPA that is supposed to be a custodian of the environment, not a destroyer of it.

So you want your selective outrage to carry weight. When every appointee and elected official does the same thing, your complaint doesn't register, with me. It may with others, but not me. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it one bit, but it's a plague running through all houses.

As to the EPA, there is nothing Pruitt has done that is destroying the environment. Hyperbole doesn't replace fact.

The EPA became a super agency lording over the citizens under the Obama Administration. It launched into areas it had no business being involved with. "Environmental Justice"? Give me a break.

The EPA needs to be gutted and demilitarized so it can return to it's original mandate to set regulations that preserve and protect the environment.

You have every right to feel that way, and it certainly looks like you're getting your wish. When our lakes and rivers become full of industrial sludge perhaps you'll see the error of your ways.

I wish you luck with the "sky is falling" propaganda. Doesn't look like voters are buying it, but you certainly have a right to keep trying to sell it.

And I wish you good fortune with your "head in the sand" mentality. One of the Trump administration's first acts was to remove a regulation that prevented coal mining operations from dumping their industrial sludge in streams and rivers.

I'm not trying to "sell" anything. I'm just saddened by the reality.

Indeed he did. Rather than destroying the livelihoods of thousands of citizens, a more common sense approach is called for.

Better to find ways to keep families from starving, than applying blanket rules that show how little the left cares about them.

Sooooo.... your claim is that unless coal mining companies are allowed to dump their sewage into our streams and rivers that "people will starve"?

Earlier you accused me of being guilty of hyperbole and of spreading "propaganda". Ironic, eh?

Dump their sewage into our streams and rivers? Don't try to sell that pap to me.

What do you think happens to people who for generations have made a living in the coal industry, when you destroy that industry?

Blanket regulations like the one the Obama Administration pushed through don't take into account local situations and remedies.

At some point the left, and especially the alt-left, will learn these ridiculous accusations only work within their own group.

Republicans, the President, etc., have just as much interest in a clean environment as anyone else.

They just aren't afflicted with an anti-human approach to accomplishing that goal.

You're not making sense. First, you acknowledge that due to the Trump administration's deregulation, coal mining operations are now allowed to dump their sludge into streams and rivers. Now you're referring to what you just acknowledged was factual is now, "pap".

What is clear to me is your hatred of the Obama administration and of the "alt-left" which I guess is what you call people that say things you don't like.

It's looking like a logical, honest debate is not what you're looking for, rather, you much prefer bashing liberals and Obama. Have at it Dude, it's a free country.

Let me know when you can have an honest and logical debate. As it is, it appears to be something you're unfamiliar with.

I've been describing actions the President have taken which seek to preserve jobs.

There is ZERO evidence that also means the President is determined to pollute the environment and destroy our streams and rivers.

I've mentioned more than once that blanket regulations don't allow for any local approaches to limit pollution and harmful impacts. Blanket regulations just shut the door on that possibility.

All you have done is present the same tired accusations that have been around, without merit, for years.

Free country, but it's a long way off from logical honest debate.

Clinton did far worse, but that was ok for the Libbos.

So are you thinking there need a to be an investigation and punishment?

Or be a hypocrite like you're accusing Libbos of by saying because you think Clinton did worse that excuses this questionable behaviour?

I thought Hillary should be punished and so should this fellow.

I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of the Libbos.

Ok noted. Not arguing that some show Hypocrisay

I was asking, are you willing to say if this fellow should be investigated and prosecuted, if laws were broke, the sane way you did Hillary? Or engage in a little hypocrisy of your own and give this guy a free pass by justifying his actions because you see Hillary's as worse?
