'One of the things with the wall is you need transparency. You have to be able to see through it. In other words, if you can’t see through that wall — so it could be a steel wall with openings, but you have to have openings because you have to see what’s on the other side of the wall.

1) he seriously thinks that drug dealers in Mexico literally throw a 60 lb. bag of drugs (worth tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars) over the wall to a waiting drug dealer on the other side? :roll:

2) apparently, these flying drug bags might hit passing Americans who just happen to be just on the other side of the wall? So these Mexican drug dealers are throwing 60 lb. bags of drugs over a wall and they have no idea who is on the other side? :roll:

3) these must be INCREDIBLY strong drug dealers to throw a 60 pound bag of drugs over a 30+ foot border wall. And yet Trump says this could happen?!? :roll:

4) and his solution is to make the wall transparent...so people can see these drug dealers throwing bags of drugs over the wall - so they do not get hit by them. :roll:

This is the single dumbest thing I recall ever hearing a sitting President say.

I was literally laughing at the incredible absurdity of Trump's statement as I typed this.

What he said was so stupid I didn't believe it at first. My brain gave him multiple chances to define what he meant by transparency. It's still hard to believe he meant some sort of glass wall.

Remember, 60 lbs could kill you from that height. Weirdly, this reminds me of a commentary (believe it was by Art Hoppe) during the dark days of the Vietnam war. Analysts concluded that, given the cost of the war, it amounted to $500k to kill each communist guerilla. One US columnist suggest that a better solution would be to wrap up the small denomination bills and drop them from helicopters. If it hit the commie, it would kill him... If it missed him, he would become a capitalist.

The see threw wall is stupid.

As for throwing the drugs over, I don't think it is a man trying to fling it over as much as a catapult or such slinging it over.
It may sound weird or stupid for someone to toss drugs over the wall hoping for the best. But the cartels did drop bundles of coke from planes into the ocean hoping the right person picked them up

I got no proof of drugs thrown over but when it comes to snuggling drugs their are creative and inventive cartels always trying new ways and it seems plausible.
 
Anyone ever seen a fl prison fence system? You have two 15ft or so fences separated by about 20 ft of linear space. There are rolls on top of rolls of concertina wire that will rip anything to shreads. That would be my recommendation. I to think Trump was reffering to catapults and other devices, but he did sound silly and should of elaborated a bit on what he meant.
