Now we know the reason for the so called fraud Voter Commission set up by Trump!

JUST IN: Trump’s Voter Fraud Commission Publishes Personal Details of All Trump’s Critics – Realtime Politics
Apparently the Trump voter fraud commission has a reason for being and it has nothing to do with elections. It allows Trump and the GOP to put out personal info on those who appose him. Its not illegal, but it places those in danger who appose him and of course it is used to intimidate all those who are thinking of apposing him in the future. I am sure all of you Trumpers will just say it isn't illegal and everyone else would do the same, but using the power of the president to get such information isn't ethical. I guess it is foolish to use the word ethical and Trump in together is really foolish. I hope all of the states see that the info requested by this commission is going to be used for political purposes and refuse to provide any of it.

Further, it's not like it hasn't been done before. In fact, publishing information has been a tactic of the left for years, only they tend to take it a step further.

Some donors to groups supporting the measure have received death threats and envelopes containing a powdery white substance, and their businesses have been boycotted.

The site takes the names and ZIP codes of people who donated to the ballot measure — information that California collects and makes public under state campaign finance disclosure laws — and overlays the data on a Google map.​

Democrats have been unethical as well, so that makes it OK. Two wrongs do make a right after all.
 
If people want to complain about how the govt is publishing their personal info they have to give the govt permission to publish their personal info = right wing logic

That the President has my personal information and is going to distribute it and or to intimidate me?

On the guise of investigating voter fraud?

And there's nothing I can do about it?

Those stupid States that handed him anything, and I think my State was one.

The real question is, whether it might not be a good idea to have total transparency of all including public servants and politicians. But we should start at the top and work our way down.

I'm going to need a better source before this should be given much credibility. Realtime Politics is a website devoted to creating and dispensing a constant stream of fake new about anything Donald Trump.

Morals and ethics went overboard very early in this Administration. I wonder if there will be anything that will really shock the people anymore as it relates to steady drip of damaging information.

Personally, I have always liked the idea of the government having less rather than more information on the population.

I have lived in countries with very different standards and types of info that public bureaucracies demanded and held. In the article and in the information asked for for registration by the federal government I did not notice anything that is not quite normal in Europe albeit in differing combinations.

Nope. The White House certainly has invited and has offered the people opportunity to comment on the commission, but I don't trust WAPO any more than Realtime Politics to accurately express its intent.

All the White House has done is post the comments people have made, the good, the bad, the vulgar, the profane, the complimentary, and the condemning. I don't have a problem with that.
