You really need to apply Occam's razor to your analyses a bit more. Follow the facts to an inductive conclusion rather than deforming facts to conform with a preordained position. So Comey (is somehow?) and Trump are connected to this guy. Why isn't Trump held in the same regard as Comey? We don't know Trump's finances who knows how much money he laundered through Russia. Complete double standard.

According to your source the case was under the supervision of Preet Bhrarara who was fired in March, Comey was then fired on May 9th, and this settlement you mentioned took place in May....So Comey orchestrated this settlement right before he was let go? This source makes no mention of Comey and I am failing to see the connection.

If anything this source is more convincing against the Trumps....


Seems like another worthless attempt by Vols...

And they do so based on the advice and recommendations, in this case, FALSE and politically motivated recommendations, from the Nations top legal invegistigation service,.... the FBI!

Comey broke a host of laws in this, and hopefully he will go to prison for it!

Well, considering the article does not even mention Comey and you have zero evidence of his involvement in the settlement other than incorrect information implying the justice department is wagged by the FBI tail, I fail to see a reason why I should give any credence to that opinion.

You are exactly right. This is just more evidence of the Trump administration capitulating to Russia.

House Democrats have sent a request to Jeff Sessions requesting the reason why this money laundering case was so quickly dropped. I'm certain they will not get an answer.

It is just another example of how this administration has capitulated to Russia while everyone is scratching their heads wondering why. Well, with acception of those trying to blame the dismissal of this laundering case on the incorrect people.

The lawyer was supposed to leave the country in January, and they do mention that she was being watched. So I assume agents of our government watched her while she overstayed her visa, which amounts to tacit acceptance, at least, of her continued presence. The natural question then is to what end was her continued presence accepted?

My thoughts exactly.

The growing evidence of people completely oblivious to the concerns of the citizens who put these people in office, or trusted them to perform the duties their government jobs are tasked with, is amazing.

The signal voters gave by electing Donald Trump President seems to have been little more than a momentary flash, quickly ignored.

I'm not sure where the Comey connection is...this seems more of a DOJ issue, especially with the mention of THIS information:

At that point the case was under the supervision of Preet Bhrarara, the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan who was fired by Donald Trump in March.

Despite pursuing the case for years, the U.S. government unexpectedly agreed to a settlement before going to civil trial, which was announced in May.

Under the agreement, the companies will have to pay around $6million in penalties.

So they set up a meeting with a Russian lawyer so they could use it as ammo on the Trumps... after the election? If you were trying to hurt someone wouldn't you release this before the election? It's like you're not even thinking one bit about what you're saying.

This is a really strange set of events that around this non-story.

I find it interesting that Clinton tried to obtain information from the Ukrane on the trump admin and nothing was said or done about it.
yet this is such a huge deal. where is all the outrage there?

we know that the DOJ and the FBI at the time completely botched on purpose the Clinton email investigation.

it was purposely covered up and the shortest method done was to sweep it under the rug as the smallest form of punishment would have been
pulling her top clearance which would have disqualified her for president as she would have never been able to get one again.

nothing that we have here.

there is no doubt about it that liberals are trying to upend our government for politics.

Not to mention that if the Trump campaign had been honest from the beginning then this would have been done and over. Typically when you see a group lying about every possible detail on a topic like this it's because they are trying to cover up illegal actions.

Please, do us all a favor and when you copy a post from FreeRepublic or somewhere else do a little additional reading and make sure you're getting the story straight.

The article in The Mail does not implicate Comey. It doesn't even mention Comey. The person you grabbed to post from added their own conjecture to the post title and got called out for it half a dozen replies into the thread.

We've got enough conspiracy crap on this as it is and don't need to give the lefties even more ammo.

no illegal action took place. it if was legal for Clinton to meet with the Ukrainian government to try and dig up dirt on trump then him showing up to this meeting was legal as well equal protection.
now the interesting question then becomes the meeting of the Clinton stuff was a ruse and the meeting was about this adoption restriction in Russia right now.
