I am not losing my head over this or anything, but even I must admit I am not sure what Trump is hoping to gain by such a twitter announcement. I suspect in combination with the clear statement sanctions are staying in place - just to show he was right and we can have normal relations?

so our strategy to keep the Russians from hacking our elections is forming an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit" with them? that's like trying to prevent the bank from getting robbed again by hiring the robbers as tellers and opening the safe.

Admittedly, I had the same immediate reaction ... provided it meant our details of such a thing are shared with anyone.
But is that was was agreed to?
I'm willing to wait for more information before drawing any conclusion.

Like we another Trump tweet to prove his stupidity.

Personally, I have to question the intelligence of those who DO follow his tweets to begin with. (Especially if they give it any credibility.)

I equate a Trump tweet to this month's edition of MAD magazine. Only, you don't have to wait a whole month until the next issue. LOL!

I can honestly say I have never seen a Trump tweet first hand. For a few of reasons.

1. I am not a Tweeter.
2. If I WAS a Tweeter I probably would not follow Donald Trump. (Or, truthfully, MAD magazine either.)
3. The only time I ever got a Tweet account and used it was when Debate Politics went down and that's how we stayed in touch. After the site came back up, I ended my Tweeter experience. Was not impressed.

But that's just me.

A joint cyber security arrangement with the Russians means that if they pull some **** we will be able to see every move they are making; documented proof for the world to see.
