At the ‘Impeach Trump March’ in Chicago earlier this week, a Trump supporter disguised as an “anti-fascist” protester read a speech comprised entirely of Adolf Hitler Quotes. The entire “anti-fascist” crowd applauded the Fuhrer and his words of National Socialism.

The idiots applauded Hitler.

I can post a video next week of myself doing that to Trump supporters. Seriously. It would need to be a paid job because I have better things to do with my time, but I can actually quote Hitler, Stalin, and Kim Jong Un. I'll throw in Dracula. Would you like to take me up on this proposal?

I think it was mostly just polite applause. I didn't get the impression any of them had the slightest idea what he was talking about.

I'm not going to do it without funding. But with a background in film, I'm 100% sure I can do it. It's also strange to me that people would blame anybody for cheering Hitler quotes just because they're Hitler quotes. He used rhetoric very effectively to make awful things sound patriotic (not like there's anybody doing that in American politics right now, thank god)

I do think it would be cool to see brainwashed Trump supporters applauding Hitler quotes thinking they were great things to say, just as the OP shows brainwashed progressives doing the same. In what way does that make "off the deep alt-right end" or show that I've "become trumpized?"

Hitler was very obviously more than a tad unhinged. That aside, he was a fantastic politician.

Obviously, Trump is about as far from being a fantastic politician as a person can be. In my lifetime, Clinton and Obama were probably the best politicians I've had the experience to have actually witnessed. Both were artful dodgers in being able to be on all sides of every issue. Rarely made a carved in stone statement. When they did, it was very likely a lie.

Hitler pioneered the messaging of the modern electronic age complete with the Big Lie, staging, dramatic lighting and the repeated use of the threat posed by the evil "they".

Modern politicians have learned and refined Hitler's methods. If we watch what is being said, how it is said and about whom, we see Hitler in every political message.

The Germans as a population were the first to be subjected to this by electronic media.

What was the big mistake of the German people? They believed what was being published and broadcast.
