Why is This Acceptable?

I know this is a joke. Constitutionally a president cannot resign and "appoint" a successor. Constitutionally, the next in line is the V.P. followed by the Speaker of the House. If Trump resigns, which I feel is possible, we'd be looking at a <gag cough> President Pence.

Yep, as much as he's hard to stomach for me, I've argued many times that the chaos Trump creates actually inhibits the harmful GOP legislative process. Things would go much smoother for the GOP under the leadership of a <puke> President Pence. Also, the longer Trump remains in office the more the GOP comes to "own" the **** show Trump has created which will be advantageous to the Dems over the next couple of election cycles.

It was American "conservative" voters that voted for him. Perhaps you should ask your fellow right wing brethren as to why they chose a big government liberal over 16 other candidates in the GOP primaries. Was it the birther issue? The Wall? Banning Muslims?

Gonna have to disagree with you on Cruz and Paul for sure, and don't care for either Rubio or Clinton. Kasich though? GOP voters have to be complete idiots to pass him up for some Reality T.V. Star, but that's what they did...

Maybe someday we as a nation can look back on our present day challenges and use it to evolve and grow. And just maybe the left will realize it is much better to be united under the banner of freedom, liberty, abundance, prosperity and not limiting socialism. We are not perfect, but at least let’s try to make the country better and not regress.

As a Nation, we have survived many tests that could have been fatal to the vision our Founding Fathers sacrificed so much to create.

I firmly believe we will survive this current test. The left has leapt so far to the left, it has left the building. It should not be unexpected that being forced to return to it will be accompanied by kicking and screaming.

I imagine history will have some interesting things to report of these times.
