If the GOP repeals Obamacare Dems win in the next election due to crossing over too many Indys and Moderate republicans
If the GOP cannot repeal Obamacare they still win the next election due to low GOP turnout
If the GOP works with Dems to fix Obamacare no one wins 'cept Trump.
 
If the GOP does nothing about ObamaCare, it goes bankrupt, and leaves 10s of Millions without any health care at all, were they had decent, employer provided health insurance, before the ObamaCare Wrecking Ball destroyed it.

If ObamaCare goes bankrupt, the hospitals, clinics and ERs will be forced to continue to provide care for 10s of Millions of Illegals and indigents, they just won't ever get paid for it. So they'll do the absolute minimal care, for those who cannot pay, and it will become the habit, so even those who can pay, will see their quality of care plumet!

The Health Care industry stock prices will tank and they'll go into recievership, and beg for bail outs, and the GOP can hem, haw, and make delaying excuses...

And the Bulk of the middle class, who used to get decent care from their employers and the system, will now get no care at all, stuck in the hard place, of they cannot afford the demanded monthly premiums nor the co-pays and deductables... so they'll start dying like flies.

And the younger generation families of the older, were-middle-class-before-ObamaCare, will be paying to bury Grandma and Grandpa in an early grave, before they ever even met their grandkids.

And Blame for all of this, will shift BACK to those who mades lying promises of "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan...".

The GOP needs only do nothing... and the left will be utterly destroyed.

America wins then because if the parties can get together on health care they can get together on anything.

All the infrastructure is in place, just got to change who the bill gets sent to is all.

Doesn't matter if you declare medicare for all, it will simply go bankrupt as well.

The old, employer provided Health Insurance system worked because it was NOT run by completely corrupt, and self-serving Government!

And there was competition, to keep each of the insurance companies honest and providing perhaps not perfect care, be enough care to earn the purchase of the plan by the Employers, so they could keep their good employees.

The Medicare for all plan, has no competition, no other providers, no limits on corruption, fraud and malfesence... so it will go bankrupt in less than a few years just like ObamaCare failed!

They may not be perfect, but Markets WORK!

You Lefties are the one's not thinking this through!

Clinton out polled Trump by three million.

73 million voted AGAINST Trump and 62 million for him.

The Dems picked up seats in the House and the Senate, the result being no final health care bill is going to pass without Dem input.

ssshh, let them believe the Democrats are done. Then when the Democrats end up back in power, including having the presidency, they'll just cry and scream about "voter fraud", as they sit back and watch the next Democrat president obliterate Trump's legacy.

I agree with the bulk of your comments...except the last two.

When Obamacare fails...when millions of Americans get stuck in that hard place...the blame won't shift back to the Democrats...at least, not JUST the Democrats. The GOP will be responsible, as well, because of their failure to fix it. The Mainstream Media will push that view.

Trump, on the other hand, will paint both Congressional Parties as the fault for not working together. He'll be able to tell the public that HE wanted them to send him something...anything...to fix Obamacare. HE told the Democrats to work with the Republicans. HE told them to repeal Obamacare if they couldn't fix it.

When Obamacare fails, Congress will be blamed. Trump will win.

Ahhh, but! with the blatant Russian-Collusion Lies, and all the other ways in which the MSM has twisted, omitted, and outright fabricated the facts, the common, working, American Voter, is now a much, much more cynical Media consumer!

I agree that Trump will come out in the best position, of the three Wash.D.C. power factions, and the GOP will share some of the blame, but I think the Lefties are going to find themselves in the People's crosshairs, because we all remember the outright lies of Obama, Holder, Rice, and in this venue, most of all, Gruber.

I wish the Dems and the GOP would get together with Trump to fix the mess, I'm old, very ill, and currently, out of work, due to significant illness, but cannot see the doctors I'd been seeing for an old Military Service wound for fifteen years, because I've got no health insurance at all, thanks to ObamaCare.

My wife is working like a dog to make the mortgage and the basic food and electric bills, but we're slowly sinking.

There is no way in hell I could afford the $1200/month + $1400 deductable + $50 per visit co-pays of ObamaCare, so I haven't seen a doctor in over seven months.

While I had been active duty Air Force, I left to get a bit more college, and was working as a civilian contractors when I obtained the injuries, and I was the luckly one, 9 others are dead. So, no veterans benefits.

The company I was working for, facing allot of U.S. who had been injuring doing their big defense contract dirty work, and all got injured by the managements mistake, in being cheap about containment of a heavy metal contamination issue, has declared bankruptcy, after giving multi-million severance packages to all the Corporations top brass.

So, there is no one left to sue for our injuries and costs.

The pharmacy will no longer fill the meds I need, without a new Doctor visit and proscription, so I'm just going without the kidney and heavy metal inflamation drugs. My wife ran out of her Blood pressure meds, but they'll still fill mine for a few more months, so I cut the pills in half, and she gets her normal dose. I get half what I need. And the damage from the high blood pressure is starting to show.

My grandkids help me hobble on crutches from the chair where I use the computer to teach them history, science, math, Shakespear, to the bathroom to piss blood, and they tell me how much they "Hate the Democrats!"

No.... this will not end up being primarily blamed on the GOP. They are partly responsible, but the real culprit is the Far-Lefties, and everyone in the whole extended, large, Hispanic, New Mexican Family knows it!

The demorats have no intention of helping the GOP fix healthcare. If they are invited, they will play the same "Our way or the highway" game they played in the lead up to that bowel movement bill known as the Affordable Healthcare Act.

Yes. The democrat party was respected during the JFK era. Unfortunately for them, as the Vietnam War went long, they latched onto the anti-war/ flower power/beatnik movement of the late 1960s. They have been going down hill every since. In the 1960s, they were anti-establishment. Now they are largely the establishment they rioted against in the 1960s.

You're praising the part of our system where someone--an employer of all people--paternalistically chooses (and largely finances) a plan for you, and you're denouncing the part where you have to choose one for yourself and pay for it yourself.

It doesn't sound like markets are working for you. It sounds like you want someone to choose and buy a plan for you.
