If you have noticed that John McCain is often more on the side of Pelosi and Waters than his fellow conservative party, we now know why. It seems as if the John McCain Institute, his charity, (another word for rich persons slush fund), is funded by George Soros.

Way to sell out John! When will the people of Arizona put this corrupt dog out to pasture?
 
The sooner everybody realizes that the big dollar donors (Soros, Koch brothers, etc.) donate to both parties the sooner we'll all be better off.

Yea, there is never any pro quo for the "donations". You are right, it is all just business as normal... if normal is government for sale to the highest bidder....

I'm a bit confused here.

Does McCain have any current affiliation with the Institute? I thought ASU runs it? Neither he nor his family seem to be on the Board or staff.

You do not need to be on the staff or the board to still pull the strings. The purpose of the institute is to forward the agenda of the people who own McCain. Through Universities, they can use their money to purchase "science" and "educated findings" in addition to indoctrinating the people they identify as tomorrows leaders to their agenda.

However, it's still a far jump to get from giving a donation to controlling an individual.

But yes, this is what's wrong in politics these days.

There's nothing corrupt about accepting donations for good causes. You might want to check on Trump's foundation that the New York State Attorney Generals office issued a cease and desist order on about 3 weeks prior to the election. Apparently, Trump was writing out checks from charitable contributions to settle his non related legal claims, and buy 2 self portraits of himself. Another investigation in the making.

The moneyed interests control our government and therefore control us. It is not just US based countries either, our laws allow our government to be bribed by multinational corporations with no interest in what is best for the USA.
