So when Republicans spend over half a decade squealing like stuck pigs about Obamacare it's noble, principled political championship of righteous political correction,
and when the Democrats challenge McConnell's bill that was prepared exclusively by Republicans, deliberately excluding all Democrats, that's merely immature Democrat whining?
 
I don't think the flag-burner is making a statement about the idea of America per se, as much as he's making a statement about Trump, the GOP, and their *effect* on America.

Our government is removing transparency, and trying to marginalize the free press, while making authoritarian overtures. And yes, many here including myself see this as anti-American. And it's coming from the White House, down.

Srsly dude, have you ever thought about the meaning of any ****ing holiday beyond "how can I spin this to attack "the left"?". Do you have any ****ing clue what the 4th of July is even celebrated for?
 
Unlike the right who has turned it into another jingoistic holiday of military worship and praising our aggressive foreign policy as fighting for our "freedumb".

So the left is typified by a few people? Yeah that sounds just about right, when you are making a dishonest attack on liberals. So the answer is NOT, this is not how "the left" celebrates the 4th of July.
 
There are many people out there like myself who fully understand the right, but cringe every time we see it being done in protests.

I think it would be a little classier to carry it upside down, or fly it upside down.

A upside down flag is well recognized by various countries (not all) as a sign of distress.

I'm not. "A few" here, "a few," there, "a few" hundred rioting over there, "a few" hundred looting over here, etc. that all adds up after a while. And we all know how the left inflates their numbers to make themselves appear more important. So live with it, it is what the left created.
