Migrant smugglers in Honduras say their business has dried up since Mr. Trump took office. Fewer buses have been leaving the northern Honduran city of San Pedro Sula bound for the border with Guatemala, the usual route for Honduran migrants heading overland to the United States. In hotels and shelters along the migrant trail, once-occupied beds go empty night after night.

Marcos, a migrant smuggler based near San Pedro Sula, said that last year he had taken one or two groups each month from Honduras to the United States border. Since Mr. Trump’s inauguration, however, he has had only one client. He blames Mr. Trump.

We used to have a place where the migrant workers hung out waiting for work. They camped in the woods nearby. They are all gone now. Wish I could say the same for Cher and Samuel Jackson.....

And all this without a wall...

Another business model down the drain.

The coyotes should apply to Obama for some U.S. government support. At least they should be able to get free cell phones.

CNN will spin this with the headline "Trump costing jobs in Central America!"

"If it moves, tax it.

If it keeps moving, regulate it.

if it stops moving, subsidize it."

Perfect! Now that's what I would call a positive result.

Indeed.

CNN will spin this with the headline "Trump costing jobs in Central America!"

Without a doubt.

Wisdom that has been proven correct, given the government's track record.

My fear is that the Democrats will start a campaign to subsidize the poor Coyotes that are no longer able to support their families.

They are probably now reduced to subsisting on the meager income from the sex and drug trade.

It makes sense that the uglier a country's leader, the less attractive that country becomes to foreigners.

Quite a few people in DP questioned Otto Warmbier's judgment to visit North Korea.

Awww. Too bad. A legal and legitimate occupation just too much to ask for?
