A study by City.com reveals that the crime rate in Phoenix dropped dramatically after the city dropped its sanctuary city policies.

There are many reason why crime rates decline over a certain period of time. But the study suggests a provacative link between fewer criminal illegal aliens roaming the streets and a falling crime rate.

I don't think this is really useful data. For the most part, everything was trending downward since 2001 anyway according to City-Data. There is a noticeable decrease in murder rates since 2008, but the biggest shift is a huge increase in rapes since then.

No surprise. Sanctuary cities are basically telling people with no respect for our immigration laws that it is OK to break our laws. Makes perfect sense that crime will drop when you no longer reward people for breaking our laws.

Not surprising, things have been going bad for most of those cities since not long after declaring sanctuary status. Maybe their leaders will realize that virtue signaling with you're civilians lives on the line is not such a good choice.

Let me see if I got this straight... You crack down on law breakers, and there is less crime? But....but.... we were told that the illegals who broke into our country illegally were really better people than we were..... I am crushed, I have been lied to......
