One of the big debates of our day is over immigration; the rights of illegal immigrants, sanctuary cities, deportation etc.
After a quick google search one can find that there is indeed a 'pathway to citizenship,' in the US, so the question I am having difficulty answering (and so would like to discuss) is this.
Are the current immigration policies feasible and fair?
If so, then what is preventing those who immigrate illegally from following the same path as the millions who immigrate legally?
