I posted a link on what the stimulus package did and you're still ignorant why the hell is that can you have someone read the information to you. There were going to be massive massive layoffs in public schools because the tax base wasn't there so yeah the money went to teachers in order to Stave off them being unemployed the other thing I would point out is that billions went to unemployment to extend it to hold people on unemployment till the economy came back this is all public knowledge you don't have to post ignorant stuff.

I know how it works. The government has played this game more than once. After all the smoke and mirrors the people lose and the rich and powerful that the money is given to win. As they printed more money and gave it to the banks for worthless bonds they devalued the money we have in our pockets and savings. The ten dollars in my pocket becomes worth 5 dollars while the rich and powerful are handed the 5 dollars I lost in the form of new money introduced to the market.

I'm of the opinion that Trump is doing his job (see posts of his and his administration's accomplishments) and there are some in the media that aren't, at least not as fairly and honestly as they should. Is it the job of the media constantly attack and bash Trump as an idiot, a clown, mentally unstable, etc. etc. when there's no foundation or fact on which to make these claims?

The meme you refer to is called an FBI Investigation and the media would be remiss if they didn't report on it...especially since it involves the head honcho of the government. If the press doesn't monitor the government then who will?

There's monitoring the government, and there's making **** up (a close brother of single source anonymous reports). There's a difference, adn this difference seems to have been lost on the 'news' media since before Trump was elected.

Criticize policy? Criticize decisions and actions? Absolutely. Making **** up? Not so much.

Yeah, that would be some hot blackmail material, but so far, all we have is a report with a suspicious source that Comey paid for. Guess he got that fantasy, gossip, rumors and innuendo that he paid for.

I haven't made up my mind about leaks. Some leaks can really do a lot of damage to our national and individual security...while others can help keep the public informed and expose corruption. So I guess it just depends on the leak.

I think you also need to consider intent as are other leaks which have nothing more than the intent to cause political damage to someone or to an administration.

Well, perhaps Trump declaring war on the media and trying to delegitimize the press so you will believe him without question might have something to do with your position. Delegitimizing the press is tactic used by many tyrants to destroy democracy...so I think people have a legitimate right to be concerned. I just never thought I'd see it happening in our country.

I think it's far more a case of treating someone more fairly and being treated more fairly in return (or not).

The banks not only got our houses paid for by the government but they also got enough to loan us to buy them back. The Ponzi scheme doesn't get any better than this.

Speaking of slush funds, it is a fact that penalties paid to the DOJ for various violations were funneled to leftist organizations (a practice that Trump stopped).
Seems to me that those penalties should have been turned into the US Treasury.
