Trump is a liar

Trump has told over 600 documented lies in the 6 months he's sat in the stolen White House. Good luck finding just 6 Obama lies in his first 6 months.

Says who? The lying CNN network?
The NYT or MSNBC. Fake news...........

Ill do the leg work....I used Politfact to keep it consistent.

Obama made 71 false statements in his 8 years as President of the United States..
Obama False Statements

Trump has surpassed Obama in less than 200 days....
Trump False Statements

LOL

A "Fact Check" organization run by the Progressive Machine is a really bad place to do any kind of leg work.

the fact is they can't deal with the fact that people lie. it is only when certain people lie.

they had no issues with all the lies the Obama or Clinton told.

hypocrisy at it's best.

they even lie amazing how that works.

everyone is a liar what is your point?
everyone lies including presidents.
what exactly is your point?

You're arguing that because everyone has lied, therefore lying in any degree or frequency, is irrelevant.

Do you think that's a smart thing to argue ludin? I mean, put on your thinking cap, strain really hard. Is it reasonable to suggest what you suggested?

The fact the obsessed left, via their MSM partners, seem to parse every single word the President says shows how totally desperate they are.

Did the media parse every single statement the EX President made? Does it parse every single word uttered from Nancy Pelosi, or Hillary Clinton?

Frankly, I hope all these people crying wolf continue with their efforts. It all works against them, and that is just fine with me.

nope I am saying if you want to hold someone to the standard of lying then you should probably be consistent in your argument about people that lie.
when confronted with the fact that people lie the goal posts get moved to the degree to which someone lies which was not the initial argument.

the initial argument was trump lies.

ok really? show me someone that doesn't.
or better yet show me a president that didn't if you want to keep it just to presidents.

Trump is being held to a standard, and he's way, way, way outside the norm.
Trump has told you exactly this fact, that he enjoys the liberal use of "Truthful Hyperbole" (lies) as an effective way to market himself and his ideas. He TOLD YOU THIS, but you're acting like in the big scheme of thing, everyone lies therefore the fact that Trump lies about most things, is irrelevant? Or that most presidents or really, just average people, don't lie like this sack of **** in the white house.

Ok really? show me someone that doesn't.
You're back to the same absurd argument. Everyone lies therefore lies are irrelevant. Good lord man. That's nihilism!!!

Here's just one aggregated source:
Trump on Politifact:

True: 5%
mostly true: 12%
Half True: 15%
Mostly False: 21%
False: 32%
Pants on fire: 16%

->69% of what Trump says is mostly false down to 100% full of ****.

Obama:
True: 21%
Mostly true: 28%
Half true: 27%
Mostly False: 12%
False: 12%
Pants on fire: 2%

Obama is 26% mostly false or full of ****.

Trump wins in all the wrong places.

No because Obama was a bold face liar as well when he was in office. so was Clinton etc ...
I didn't see the same standard being held against them for all the lies they told.

so no a different standard is being applied.

You're back to the same absurd argument. Everyone lies therefore lies are irrelevant. Good lord man. That's nihilism!!!

I never argued that you can stop making it up.

Obama:
Mostly False: 12%
False: 12%
Pants on fire: 2%

Obama is 26% mostly false or full of ****.

so thank you for proving my point Obama lied his ass off. where was your outrage then?
no where. thank you for proving my point. you did a great job.

faux outrage is faux outrage and I treat it as such.

So you've now moved on to the absurd position that the Republicans, including many conservatives on these forums, did not routinely bitch about Obama lying while he was president.

You really want to claim that Ludin? I mean, I can research past posts you know.

And even though that's obviously true that Republicans bitched about Obama like he was the devil, it all goes back to why people hate Trump.
If all Trump did was lie, you're right, it wouldn't be this bad. He's not just a liar, he has many negative attributes and behaviors, that it would take a long time to list the all. Ranging from his unprofessional and vulgar attitude, his love affair with the Russians who helped him win the election and trash HRC, his financial/business conflicts of interest now that he's potus and his refusal to release his tax returns, his constant attacking of the media (since before his campaign, its not new), his apparent ignorance on most any topic, etc.

wow why can't you actually address what I said instead of making up stuff that I didn't say?
is it really just that difficult or is it just not possible?

it isn't that difficult. the only reason people do that is because they can't actually deal with what is actually being said.
so they have to make something up in order to address that. it is commonly refered to as a strawman argument.

I never mentioned anything about republicans and Obama.

I'm not sure if he's more a liar or just blurts sh$t out without knowing what he is talking about. Either way - you cannot trust anything he says.

Here's the proof: More MS-13 Gang Nonsense - FactCheck.org

The president of the USA is a bald-faced liar.

If anyone has proof to the contrary let's see it.
Before I can or can not do that, I have to explore if we mean the the same thing when we use these terms.

To me, there is a big difference between being “liberal with the truth” and being a “boldfaced liar”.

A lie serves the purpose to deceive someone and lead them away from the truth.

Being “liberal with the truth” is still untrue but can also be seen as hyperbole that leads one closer to the truth through exaggeration or simplification.

“I made a bizzlion dollars last year is being “liberal with the truth”.

“I made very little last year so I can’t afford to pay you is a lie.”

”Washington Post is owned by Amazon” : Liberal with the truth

”Washington Post is owned by Fred Schmoo”: Lie

A president optimally should do neither. We should be able to take his words literally. I can’t defend Trump in that regard, but let’s be quite clear, trumps longtime habit of being “liberal with the truth” does not mean he is a “baldfaced liar”. I don't think having ex-wives is presidential. I don't think being sexual with interns is presidential. I don’t think refusing to work with a republican congress and instead just passing executive orders that spite them is presidential, and vice-versa with a democratic congress.

In the end though, presidents are human beings and fall short of the shoulds.

Can we at least agree though the distinction between linguistic lies and deception are important to separate?

If you categorize these lists (or a portion there of) between harmless exaggeration/simplification and deception, does Trump still have more lies? In your assessment. In mine he does not.

Don't try to bring fact or common sense into debates with them, idiocy will win out every single time.

Though it still loses... you know, in a word.. it Trumps you..

We'll see. In the end, it will be found to have been stolen. Watch.

Yeah we just might, but if it does prove you right. I'll at least have he decency to admit I was wrong, seeing as there is very little of that coming from anywhere near the left these days.

everyone is a liar what is your point?
Obama was a liar
Clinton was a liar
bush lied
Reagan lied.

I think the Op's point is the extent and number of the Trump lies. to be expected, his campaign was built on lies. Before the Primary, he continued to espouse the Birther Lie, while more qualified candidates refused to stoop that low.

Start a thread about Obama then. This one is about Trump being a liar.

It's called deflection. The Trump fans have nothing worthwhile to say about Trump, because there is nothing, so they go off-topic, and resort to Obama bashing.
