President Donald Trump attacked Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Thursday morning, insulting Brzezinski’s physical appearance in two unmistakably sexist tweets.

“It’s a sad day for America when the president spends his time bullying, lying and spewing petty personal attacks instead of doing his job,” MSNBC said in a statement Thursday.

Whether it was sexist or not is arguable, I suppose. But it was definitely disgusting, petty, immature, and beneath the way a President should behave, especially publicly.
 
When you insult someone you should pick insults that you believe will be effective.

The low class and uneducated have voted to have a representative finally give them a voice on the national stage. They have been feeling left out. So this is their voice. It may sound gratingly harsh, uncouth, ignorant, boorish, and intolerably offensive to the rest of us. But this is a democracy, and it promises representation for all the people.

Trumps tweets focusing on her physical appearance were tasteless and classless and sadly what I've always expected from him.

Mika's response, also focusing on Trumps physical appearance, wasn't any less childish, but far more common place for a partisan political commentator than from the freaking POTUS.

However, following Mika speculating and insinuating over multiple breaks, despite attempts by Joe to even get her to backtrack or stop, that Trump is a closeted homosexual I have little real sympathy about any "personal" back and forth between the two as neither have clean hands.

It's unbecoming of a President, it's low class on both their parts, but it's par for the course with the ****ty political climate we find ourselves in today.

Mika's responses weren't exactly classy, but she's not the freakin' POTUS. Morning Joe is Infotainment. Why is the POTUS so easily melty snowflaked by infotainment?

Because Trump is constantly worried about how people perceive him. Which is why he spends his time stupidly going after people that really shouldn't matter to him at all.

I don't think it really was sexist, if I'm going to be totally honest, but it was certainly stupid, and should be beneath the President of the United States. But apparently not, it seems.

I honestly thought he would clean up his act and grow up a bit once the weight of the office was on his shoulders. But like nearly all my Trump predictions, that one was wrong too.
