Now says it is not his responsibility to investigate the Russians or collusion. Gee, he spent years investigating something that everyone said would lead no where and they were right. Now he seems not to want to investigate someone of his own party. I would call him a hypocrite but that would be too mild.

The full story is of course important. The words and explanations of Gowdy are important and accurate.

This OP fails to do that of course.

There isn't a straighter shooter in Congress than Trey Gowdy. The guy is brilliant, and his process of deconstructing witnesses is a joy to watch.

I understand why the Left dislikes him, as he's got more intellectual firepower than the entire Demokrat side of the aisle... in both chambers of Congress combined.
 
He's a far right partisan who picks his targets based on politics.

I saw this being said when Obama was first elected. Ironic that its STILL being said. Fact of the matter is that both the Dems and GOP have been sea sawing for decades upon decades. Neither side is going anywhere.
 
I dislike him for wasting the American's tax dollars in what was apparent to everyone, that his investigation of Clinton was just a political Act. What was his last investigation, the 7th or 8th investigation of Clinton's actions during the Benghazi incident. And how did it end, it foound that Clinton did no wrong, but it did keep "Clinton under investigation for failure to act" in the news for several more months.

Clearly Trey is showing us that he is nothing more than a political hack from South Carolina. As that anyone who is not already part of that gang thought differently.

I'd like to think our governor is not. He certainly showed a decent amount of independent thought regarding ACA and certainly demonstrated more of it during the Trump campaign.
