It’s not seriously disputed by anyone in a position of authority in the U.S. government—apart from the president himself—that Donald Trump holds his high office in considerable part because a foreign spy agency helped place him there. So now what?

A couple questions for you:

1. What do you consider "help"? Better yet, what did a foreign spy agency do to increase the number of votes that elected Trump?

2. What has Trump done that indicates he's "Putin's Puppet"?

Ah, maybe you don't want to believe it. But if Trump's team used stolen voter information dug up by Russian hackers to target swing voters, that certainly would have done the trick to win over those few voters who they needed to win the three closely contested states in the Midwest. And, guess what? They may very well have done just that.

Free country means I can reject all the elected leaders who I believe do not represent me. That does not mean they are not there or they are not in those positions. It just means that I reject them.

IMO, this guy is not legitimate. And, each day more proof comes out supporting my gut feeling.

Well, not entirely because of the Russians, I agree. He also lied his way to the White House. The poor saps on Medicaid who believed him are face to face with his big lie at the moment, the one he repeated countless times. You remember, providing "better and cheaper health care for everyone". He made the lie seem credible by using a second lie - that he believed the wealthy should pay more taxes. He said that over and over again, too. So now we have a proposed bill he praises that guts future Medicaid by lowering taxes on the wealthy. Nice, as he would say.

If you're Republican then apparently nothing happens. Trump has done a wonderful thing for the country. He has proven that the right (both politicians and the base) cannot be trusted to do the right thing whatsoever and that the rest of us are on our own. I wouldn't expect left-wing politicians to do the right thing as they are probably almost as bad, but I would expect at least half of the left base to do the right thing. Really that is all the US has left is part of the left-wing base. Nobody else can be trusted at all.
 
Our entire safety and position as a nation is threatened and we face the greatest danger we have faced in decades .... this time from within.

Donald Trump is indeed illegitimate. His election was solely due to a fluke of the Electoral College despite him losing the vote of the American people by over 2,800,000 votes for his opponent. A mechanism left over from the 1700's placed him in office and even then the electors FAILED to do their job as described by founding father Alexander Hamilton in Federalist Paper 68 when eh explained why we needed this system. And it failed us this time because the electors failed to do their job as described by Hamilton.

The very mechanism of the EC renders a president as illegitimate when the people vote contrary to it. The mechanism which makes Trump legal - also renders him illegitimate as the mechanism violates the very principles sacred to our entire election system - one man and one vote with no vote counting more than any other vote.

Donald Trump is illegitimate because our main adversary joined in an effort to get him elected at the public invitation of Trump and then Trump enthusiastically used their work product to his advantage to win a close election in states which gave him that EC victory despite a heavy popular vote loss.

It was tantamount to treason and Trump committed it.

Trump is illegitimate because FBI Director Comey involved himself in the election with his actions to interfere in the election and thereby helped Trump at a crucial time when at least 10 to 15 million voters cast ballots while he placed Clinton under a scandalous cloud of suspicion which was later found to be without substance.

And now t he world laughs at us. It laughs at our stupidity and our impotence. And the ones laughing the loudest are Putin and the Russians knowing they stuck it to us good and hard and long and Trump refuses to even acknowledge it for fear even more people will view his as the Bastard King that he is.

These are sad sad days and only traitors to the USA will deny this and side with the Russian ally living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and holding the power to destroy our nation and large parts of the world in his incompetent hands.

What is true is that Trump is the president, a wounded duck and a ling lout. And, that's why he is not my president. He's just keeping the seat warm.

I don't know if they [the Left] would do the right thing. I would hope they would, and I'd hold them just as accountable if they did not. But, truth be told, I suspect they would really around their guy or gal just like the R's are doing right now.

As much as I disagree with the EC--which I most certainly do--it is the law of the land. An EC win with a losing pop vote does not an illegitimate president make. An EC win with a pop vote loss aided by a foreign government however changes that equation substantially, especially if the win resulted from collusion with said foreign government.

There was a time when the Right would have been appalled by a foreign government meddling in our election. Strange, but not surprising, to see how quickly they turncoat when it's their boy being aided though.

1. Which amounts to absolutely nothing. It's all speculation that is going to be "probed" by the Democrats. Big deal. Won't be anything to it just like there is nothing to any of the other parts of their witch hunt. So...you got anything else that shows that a foreign spy agency increased the number of votes for Trump?

2. That was the GOPe. Thing is, they have no reason to believe Trump even WANTS to lift any sanctions against Russia. So...you got anything else that you think indicates Trump is "Putin's Puppet"?

Come on...surely you have more than this...a big nothing?

because he was for Hillary but then chickened out and wrote in Kasich. Frum-who I know-was exactly the type of RINO that Trump ran against
