MAGA Boeing to Layoff 200

Lol...you'd almost get the impression that Trump is a liar.

Boeing factory where Trump delivered jobs speech to lay off 200 workers - Jun. 22, 2017

But, you have to not be a partisan hack with his or her head up their ass to see it.

Boeing won orders and commitments for 571 planes worth as much as $74.8 billion, Ihssane Mounir, the U.S. manufacturer’s head of commercial aircraft sales, said at a press conference at the show. While Airbus pulled out a series of late agreements, it fell short with a tally of 326 airliners valued at just under $40 billion

Crow is likely going to be a permanent feature of every meal for the most rabid of the left....

I get the impression that Trump didn't realize how little the president matters when it comes to these small scale layoffs. The President can not influence the worldwide demand for aircraft, and Trump probably thought he was bigly powerful enough to be able to.

Paris was about as expected. Here is why Boeing is laying off people... "After years of record sales, the pace of orders for Boeing's twin-aisle jets, including its 777 and 787 Dreamliner, has slowed significantly. Boeing is cutting back production of its current generation of 777 jets, its most profitable model, by nearly 60% from its peak." this was in the article if you chose to read it.

that is the problem with zealotry one tends to lose focus on everything else.
you are seeing a slow down a bit due to the fact that businesses were excited about the new tax bill.
without that they are going to cut back.

suggest you do your homework before you call the layoffs small scale.

jets go in cycles. airlines only replace their jets once every 20-25 years.
the huge replacement cycle has ended for now. once they come out with a new model on the Dreamliner in the next 5 years they will ramp up orders for that.

I read the article, so strike one.

The point is, orders exceeded expectations, based on Boeings own statements. Strike two.

So a shift in preference by customers should be blamed on Trump. Strike three.

Some on the left should be more discriminating when revealing their ignorance of business and the necessary actions taken to insure it's profitability.

read the article. Success at Paris was dependent on a new model.

When the future is less onerous, a business can become more aggressive in it's pricing and production strategy. Business abhors an uncertain future.

you may have read it but you didnt understand it. from the article "‘The show was a little better than expected."

:doh

It's pretty obvious who didn't understand it. Don't let your bias and need to maintain the objective get in the way of facts.

that would get in the way of the meme.

resorting to sarcasm is a pretty desperate ploy. layoffs at Boeing have been in the thousands so yeah trump is america unemployed again.

another pointless post

not at all. it addresses a fact.
this is a continuance of the job cutting that boeing that they started last year.
before trump was even elected.

Blowing smoke seems to be his only strong suit.

I agree. You've been working long and hard to perfect the art. :sinking:
