Congress is investigating whether any private voter information allegedly stolen by Russian hackers was passed to or used by the Trump campaign, Time reported Thursday.

Ken Menzel, general counsel of the Illinois State Board of Elections, told Time that 90,000 state voter records were obtained through cyberattacks on their system, 90 percent of which contained drivers license numbers and a quarter of which contained the last four digits of voters’ Social Security numbers. Two anonymous sources close to congressional investigations into Russia’s election interference say lawmakers want to know if any of this stolen data eventually ended up in the hands of Trump’s team.

Time did not specify which of the five congressional committees looking into Russian interference in the election is investigating this specific thread.

This report is the latest indication that Russia’s cyberattacks on the United States’ electoral infrastructure, which include efforts to delete or alter voter data in Illinois and targeted attacks on election systems in 21 states, are becoming a focus of congressional and federal probes into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Oops ... :2razz: Looks like this isn't going away.

No need to get excited, President Trump is probably safe due to his own incompetence.

He belly flopped into the presidency, it wasn't a graceful win by any standard.

Before or after the primary? I find it implausible that the Russian's could provide useful voter information that the RNC didn't already have.

Everyday i say to myself, what would Republicans say if Obama did the exact same thing?

They have the exact same amount of evidence that Pres. Trump had access to that information that they have that Sen. Clinton did - NONE. This is 100% a "see if something sticks" pseudo-investigation.

Everyday i say to myself, what would Republicans say if Obama did the exact same thing?

I'd say "Show us something to indicate that there was a crime and if you find it, then investigate." So far, all we have is "We didn't like how the election turned out, so we're going to keep throwing mud until stupid people start believing that it means something and then launch multiple investigations with the end game being that of 'with this many investigations, there has to be something Pres. Trump is doing wrong. He's the most investigated Presdient we've ever had.' and people like you will gobble that crap up like Pac Man at an all you can eat dot restaurant.

The Time reported it, eh? Lol

Everyday i say to myself, what would Republicans say if Obama did the exact same thing?

What "thing" would that be? So far there's no evidence of the Trump campaign doing any "thing".

Get back to us when there's an actual "thing".

There would probably be some republicans jumping on the anti-democrat president conspiracy theory bandwagon. When ever a group loses the presidency the sore losers jump on every negative conspiracy theory about that president as a means of trying to de-legitimize the presidency.Democrats on the other hand tend to do it in greater number and has the media to aid in them in their conspiracies. Take the birther-tard conspiracy for example. Most republicans did not jump on that despite what the media tried to portray and FOX news did not give that birther tard conspiracy theory any credibility. However most democrats seemed to give credence to the Bush stole the elections, Bush went AWOL, Bush lied for war, Trump colluded with the Russians to win the election conspiracy theories and the liberal media gave credence to those idiotic conspiracy theories.

Who had thought that it would stop, before we know how vulnerable the country is to nonlinear war of thus kind?

Frankly I'm sitting back having a ball watching the failure crash and burn into the worse Presidency in American history ... and ain't been 6 months yet. :lamo

But this isn't the best part, because anyone with brains new Donald Trump was a puzzy grabbing, worker stiffing, bankruptcy king, lying SOB more than 10 years ago. Hell he didn't become a Republican until he found out how gullible and stupid they were. No the best part is, this moron is going to drag the entire conservative group of Hippocrates through the pig-**** with him and till come out smelling like a sleeze.

So everyday you think irrelevant thoughts?

Obama spied on many Americans himself.

Naaa ... she's actually good at what she does, but Donny sucks.

Naaa ... she's actually good at what she does, but Donny sucks.

She's a great felon. Really, truly great. So rather than prosecute crimes we know have occurred, the political left believes we should spend our time investigating rumors with the hope beyond all hope that something could turn up, somewhere. That's just freaking bizarre, and you think the political left should be leading the country.

The RNC wouldn't have access to democrat voter information...unless someone hacked it and then gave it to them.

Or a disgruntled employee gave it up.

But the Russians make better headlines.

So all 17 agencies that say the Russians meddled in our election are lying? And the CIA and FBI investigations into contacts with the Trump campaign and Russian agents are all lies too? The media is only reporting what those charged with our security are saying. It has nothing to do with being sore losers, that is a ridiculous meme picked up from mister ridiculous himself, the birther in chief Donald Trump.

Do you have a link saying they did meddle? I've seen lots of they attempted and even some that say they possibly succeeded. But I haven't seen any creditable person say Yes they did and here is the proof.

And the CIA and FBI investigations into contacts with the Trump campaign and Russian agents are all lies too?

Investigations are not proof of wrong doing or illegal activity. If they were many politicians on both sides would be in chain gangs.

No the media selectively reports what those in charge are saying. Sometimes they use unsubstantiated rumors and anonymous report them as of they are true because being first is more important than being correct.

CNN coverage of the Georgia election defeat showed the faces of some salty looser. Not all loosers ate sore, but sore loosers are loud

Naaa ... she's actually good at what she does
I don't know if sowing international discord and chaos is something to be proud of, but she failed at so much her supporters will take what they can get.

One word. Impeach !!

I am quite sure if Hilldog was Pres, with the same investigations, articles of impeachment would already be drawn up. The GOP has really lowered the bar by sticking with the Liar in Chief.

Naaa ... she's actually good at what she does, but Donny sucks.

She is a politician that was unable to get elected the two times she tried to run on a national stage. One of those times loosing to Donny a man you think totally sucks.

Are you saying she excells at looking elections and makes other terrible candidates look like a viable alternative? Because I would agree she is great at that.
