Jury finds cop not guilty in shooting of black in Minnesota

Can u point to ONE riot or looting in Chicago over blacks killing blacks in HUGE numbers

Gang violence isn't an outrageous event (that's what people riot over). It is a very sad byproduct of a longstanding sociological issue that is further hampered by the number of black Americans put in prison and now have felony convictions where they can't get jobs, turn to crime, and repeat the cycle.

Homicide in Chicago was way, way down for the entirety of the Obama administration. Only now is it back to levels we haven't seen in 20 years.

Stop focking up the meme with objective reality will ya?

You are being ridiculous. SO he got a ticket for driving without a muffler and not wearing a seat belt and you think that because he is black he should have been given the ticket.

Is it against the law to drive without a muffler and drive without a seat belt? If you answer yes, then why are you upset he got a ticket for it?

What is this **** about driving with a wide nose? What kind of stereotype is that?

I think you misunderstood me, one thing I said was poorly worded. The majority of his citations (meaning they weren't thrown out) were for not wearing a seatbelt and one involved his muffler. I just thought that was humorous. I think that warrants a warning, not a citation. I'm not angry.

You get pulled over 52 times in 14 years. Half are dismissed because they're nothing. Half are petty violations. No felony arrests. He worked for his money, he had a car, a family, friends, and was an active member of the community. But he wasn't treated like any of those things by the police. He was treated like he was black and must be guilty of something (queue NWA lyrics).

You're showing you don't know the case at all. He was pulled over the day he died because the officer radioed that Castile was being pulled over because 2-3 days before, a robbery store had been robbed and part of the description of the perpetrator was that he had a wide set nose. Officer Yanez radioed "I'm pulling him over just because of the wide set nose." Castile was literally pulled over for having a wide set nose. Yanez was not trying to solve a robbery. He was trying to serve and protect. Instead he profiled and shot.

So you know zero black people, right? Our discussion is over unless you answer that and if you don't answer it, I will presume that you know zero black people and you silence is an admission of such.

So to clarify, you think black people are treated fairly but don't know any black people.

Everything looks perfect from far away, doesn't it.

YOu have some pretty strange ideas.

You should really look into some therapy.

I have a therapist for generalized anxiety and as an alternative to taking pain medication (I have chronic pain). Maybe this is obvious, but I'm not ashamed of that. But back to the subject of the thread, you're condoning the way black people are treated by law enforcement but are more or less admitting you know zero black people. That's a very important element of the conversation. If you understand what black Americans go through, you get the anger. If you aren't exposed to it, then you may not understand it. How is that strange? But I'll discuss it with my therapist with the warning that they'll be very confused by why I would even wonder whether or not I have "some strange ideas" on this matter.

;) The time has come for "everyone" to start fearing for their lives, only then will people start taking these unarmed killings seriously.

That's why I'm CCW Packing, because you never know, I might just have to fear for my life.
