He is exactly why good people HATE Republicans. He simply represents everything that is WRONG with our political system today. Just another "hack" trying to gain "brownie" points with the base. The sad part is that he will likely pay no political price for his absurd comments as his supporters love it. And we wonder why they were called "deplorable". Maybe because they are.

 Recommend you google "Stray Voltage Theory", and perhaps go back and read some informed and thoughtful conservatives on the issue. Obama was definitely comfortable rhetorically dividing Americans against each other.

Mind you, that doesn't make him uniquely responsible at all - and Trump has certainly thrown gasoline on the fire he contributed to. It just makes him one of many, many, many politicos who have discovered that doing so is a great way to tie your base to you and get elected.

If you were to post all the stupid stuff king says you would use up all of DP's bandwidth.

No worries. In my view, none of us escape our Karma. He has a comeuppance in the works... in a shape and form I cannot determine.

Maybe we get to find out. Maybe not. Maybe it happens in the next realm. I firmly believe it's coming! Picture the way bad guys transitioned upon their deaths in the movie Ghost. All grins!

Never heard of Steve King, but it's no reason to HATE all republicans because an asshole that happens to be republican says something stupid. I don't hate all Dems because of this one idiot:

As should you my friend..........:)

 I'm not a thing like you. I don't start partisan rager threads like this one day in and day out. If you want to help tone down the divisiveness, stop doing that.

I did not say ALL "good people" nor did I say "ALL" Republicans.

Now, let me give you an example of why such "generalization" (however incorrect) does happen.

There isn't a sports fan alive that hasn't criticized an officiating crew at a ball game. Yet, the crews are made up of may officials - not just one. That said, all it takes is one bad call, from one official (perceived or otherwise) to cause the fan to claim "Those officials were terrible". In other words we view in generalities and not singularities.

Now, let me ask you this: Why is everyone that says anything negative about Trump automatically labelled a "LIB"?

Yes, you did.

You made no attempt to exclude any Republicans from this vitriol, and given your spittle-flecked history, there's no reason to think you weren't referring to all of them.

Indeed, it's things like your post which are part of the problem you hilariously think you're decrying.

If you don't see the error in what King said, then you are simply part of the problem. If a Democrat had made those comments, I would have made EXACTLY the same comments. Something that I doubt you can honestly say.

That said, if you don't like my post comments, then don't read them.

I didn't say anything about what King said. I commented on the irony of your post. It broke the meter.

If a Democrat had made those comments, I would have made EXACTLY the same comments.

Plenty of them do. Let's see you saying EXACTLY the same thing about that, before now. Examples?

In fact, let's see you doing anything other than raging against Trump and Republicans.

Something that I doubt you can honestly say.

I couldn't care less what you "doubt."

That said, if you don't like my post comments, then don't read them.

That's not how a debate forum works.

You are hilarious....lol

Where is it written that I have to post something that you like? You may not like my posting comments or tone, but you cant refute it, you can only "whine" about it. .................:) Again, if you don't want to read it, then don't. Geez.....:(

Now, please copy and post the word "all" in my topic and I will certainly apologize. Until then, please stop "whining" and move past your self anointed "righteousness". It simply makes you look foolish.

Now, let's bypass your attempt at semantic redirection and discuss the message and not your interpretation of the posting style of the messenger.

Do you agree or disagree with what KING said. YES or NO?

I have no idea. Doesn't make sense since there are plenty of non-libs, including myself, that have said negative things about Trump.

Where did you say you weren't? Which Republicans do you exclude? Taken in context with everything else you post, you clearly meant all Republicans.

It's up to YOU to take care to be clear about what you're saying. But the rager style isn't really suited for that.

Until then, please stop "whining" and move past your self anointed "righteousness". It simply makes you look foolish.

^^^^
THIS is foolish. You don't get to control how and when people respond to you.

Now, let's bypass your attempt at semantic redirection and discuss the message and not your interpretation of the posting style of the messenger.

I certainly agree with him that Obama was intentionally and needlessly divisive, and that most definitely contributed to the atmosphere we have today.

Do you not agree with that?

One nut is not unusual.

But I'd like to know about the hundreds of thousands that put this guy in office! That to me, is really scary!

Iowa has been trending very red since 2014 and King's IA-04 is easily the most conservative of IA's 4 CDs. He beat Kim Weaver by 22.6 points last year and she's giving it another shot.

DEMs do have good shots at IA-01 and IA-03, but IA-02 was won by trump and a DEM Rep.

The DEM archipelago needs to grow inside out IMO, not outside in coming in from the coasts .
