i think it's worth it to highlight stuff like this it when it happens in order to keep the absurd from being normalized any more than it has to. even if cartoonish becomes status quo, it's kind of our duty as rational people to point out that it's still cartoonish.

Trump started the meeting spewing fake news talking about his accomplishments. We could list them all, but why bother? Anyone who saw the meeting and is aware of recent political history knows that much of Trump's lavish self-praise was a lie.

Most of the meeting made me think that it must be like any type of meeting in North Korea with Kim Jong Un.

Maybe it is the way I was raised, maybe it is my Southern upbringing and heritage, maybe it is my Irish heritage but I don't cotton to ass kissing. Never have and never will. I don't care, I just flat won't do it. It might have helped my career along the way at some point or the other but whatever the alternative was I took it. I don't like it when people try to kiss my ass either. Not Trump's cabinet.

What I saw in the cabinet meeting was shameful. It is an embarrassment to the nation that the world might see such butt kissery.

reminded me of that guy from North Korea, Kim Un, or whatever the fudge his name is.
He gets all of his folks around him, they heap praise upon him like he is some kind of God, then Kim dances around & claps his little hands, just like Trump does.
Pretty creepy stuff .........
 
I had reserved some hope for Nikki Haley. No more. She must need her UN job badly to genuflect before Lord Trump.

We all know that Donald Trump is a loyal, patriotic American. Even liberals know that, but they continue on with their silly, immature remarks about Trump.

It's interesting that Barack Obama truly was and still is anti-America, and liberals know that as well. Yet for eight years barely a peep out of liberals regarding that fact.

Obama to this day still has not been properly vetted for the most part. The leftist America hater from parts unknown, and father unknown, continues to live his life in relative secrecy.

Meanwhile, President Trump picks and chooses the best for the position, not like Obama whose preference was always the worst left wing political hacks that the Democratic Party could offer.

Why would a bald faced lie and cover-up be over?

Especially when Obama for all intents and purposes still is the leader of the Democratic Party because the other potential Democratic Party leaders are so feckless. Obama is simply less feckless than the others at this time.
