Trump State Visit to UK on Hold.

" Trump and his supporters insult people all the time" as do the liberals. That is one of the main problems of out present democracy.

Maybe, but I find Trump and his supporters are particularly shameless in this regard.

Trump mocked vets, like saying he didn't like the fact that McCain got captured and mocked the Khan family, called Mexicans rapists, implied a American judge of Mexican descent was unfit to judge him, mocked a disabled reporter, got caught bragging about forcing himself on women and goes out of his way to hurl petty insults at allied nations like Canada, Australia and Germany.

And the vast majority of his supporters seem to be fine with all this or find glee it. If you are going to act like a cartoon villain on the internet, don't expect me to care about your feelings.

Anyone who is insulted that the Brits would protest Trump, needs to get over themselves, Trump and supporters have done little earn respect from anyone else, if want more respect, they should act more respectfully. This goes beyond politics and into the realm of common decency. People without shame have lost their moral right to be insulted.

Hillary wasn't "my candidate." And the only people responsible for Trump are the fools who voted for him.

If the election were rerun, I would vote against Trump again, what a buffoon.

Why were people fools for voting for Trump, when you acknowledge that Hillary wasn't a good candidate?

Continue the reality dodge and have another sip of the Kool Aid.

What reality dodge would that be? The pollsters predicted Hillary Von Pantsuit would be the next president? That turned out not to be the case.

Do you really think the president would be under any more danger in the UK than he would in say New York?

At the moment...yes. Let the brit security services get their handle on their present threat of terrorism first. It's not just about Trump's safety. He has secret service protection. it's more that the british security services have a lot on their plate right now....and they are not even sure who their leader is going to be.

It surprises me in the least that you wouldn't try to justify any of Trump's actions. Trump is not a rational actor. It is perplexing to me that someone may double down in support of him despite evidence of Trump being unfit. Ironically, his supporters are the immature ones who are intolerant of dissent.

You seem to missing out on the liberals who have rioted and destroyed property over Trump. I suppose the left's paid rioters will explode again when Obamacare is repealed.

Even though an attack is VERY unlikely to succeed...if you look at it from an insurance perspective...you are absolutely right.

God bless the people who voted for Donald Trump. They saved us from that ultra-corrupt wench Hillary Von Pantsuit.

Trump is just less sneaky in being up front. We are unaccustomed to the direct style. So much so that we have seen the news concentrate on the style and other trivia instead of trying to understand and explain the probable strategy, if any, behind the interesting departure from traditional behavior. This is quite sad and has harmed us as a country by suggesting to the international theater that the things Trump trumpets are without solid basis that must be addressed with or without Trump.

PS: The protesters have the right to protest. That their protest is rather simple-minded in being directed at one of the best national allies GB could desire and that for no more reason than personal dislikes, it is true, is not a reason to feel insulted. It is more a reason to feel pity and to analyse the behavior's potential impact on British policy. Should that be all too negative measures would be required.
