The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to govern

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

I'm not sure why that would matter, if it is true.

President Trump requests a meeting or two with a director under his jurisdiction. Director shows up with AG in tow. President tells her to go have a cup of coffee.

Didn't Comey at one point state the reason he went to the public with his investigation results rather than to his boss was that he didn't trust the AG? The same AG that met with the husband of an under investigation candidate?

I think sessions is a male isn't he

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

So anytime you're in a meeting at work and your boss asks you to stay, this becomes a "secret" meeting? I strongly disagree.

That's not what I said and I think you know it too, dishonest post

At the time, his boss was Lynch. Although it could be argued either way, I believe her birth certificate states Lynch is an F.

And, meanwhile those who bought his BS and voted him into office have set up America to pay the price.

So, yes, electing a guy who hasn't a clue how things work to be our president is probably the dumbest thing the Right has ever done.
Nothing dumb at all about shrinking the reach of gov. They track way too many things that have nothing to do with what the cenus was created for. Stop trying to track all that extra stuff and use that money on something else.

nope as usual you are incorrect. https://www.usnews.com/news/politic...tta-lynch-bids-farewell-to-justice-department https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/06/us/politics/comey-sessions-trump.html?_r=0 I was right sessions is a male, a classic LGBT trying to hide the fact.

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

Trump didn't expect to win. Trump didn't want to win. He had major plans to turn his "Rigged election" loss into a "cultish" media empire. He and his family are having a very hard time trying to reap the same type of monetary windfall with so much Trump scrutiny going on.

Trump is relatively easy to figure out in many way. He liked the "show and performance" aspect of campaigning. He liked being able to have a crowd respond much like a carnival barker does. Now, he actually has to accomplish something and he is as lost as "last years Easter egg". He actually hates being president and it shows not only in his appearance, but in his rhetoric as well.

I believe that as well. He was absolutely not prepared. There are still many positions in his administration that are unfilled.

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

At the time Comey delivered his findings to the public (July and November? 2016) Mr. Trump was not President.

At the time comey met with President Trump president Trump was President Trump. AG Lynch was gone.

Except it is false to try to divert responsibility. The American people elected the man or let him be elected and the pigheaded dilettante way the Democrats went at it is lands them real blame in their laps.

I suspect you are under estimating to the depth and breadth that a lot of Americans resent Trump's birther crap

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

there is some truth to that but the dumbass is proving them wrong by the day.

Actually, he has so far only presented them with an act that they have taken as proof of the substance of their prejudice.

Just because you hate an outcome doesn’t mean you are not responsible for it.

So? They lost. And, they are outnumbered in both houses.

So, they now look for cracks to exploit. And, the moron in the WH gives them plenty of those. Your fault for electing a moron who is easily manipulated and has many weaknesses to exploit.

what he has done is presented an act worthy of investigation

But that wasn't the issue, was it?

Think July and November. Who was President and who was AG?

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

You contradicted youreself in one sentence. Trump wants a straight up vote and wants to change the rules because he knows that a party line vote would benefit him.

I suspect he would prefer to return to the days of Kennedy, where both parties could sit down and bang out an agreement. Now we have turned into a nation of tribes. Schummer is willing to let Obamacare crash so he can blame it on Trump. Who cares about the victims.

That is quite true. That is why Putin wanted Trump to win. I believe we discussed this before the election.

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

You must be a mind reader to sit there and try to assign intentions to something someone else is doing. Trump won because ordinary people can see their lives slipping away from them and being slurped up by China and Mexico, and no one seemed to care but Trump.

And he will keep winning unless you can provide a good reason to send our manufacturing to China, and import middle class labor from Mexico. When you can explain why that is good for Mary and Joe Latte, then maybe you might get some idea why Trump is popular.

Trump sends all his manufacturing overseas but he is going to stop others from doing the same? You are propagating lies. Trump only talks about helping ordinary Americans to get their vote and guess what? He doesn't need your vote now. He told you that right after the election and you missed it.

LOL That is another lie. Not only is the GOP not willing to reach across the aisle to the Dems, they can't even get their own moderates on board with their radical agenda.

"He actually hates being president ..."

Well **** me running, I hate it too, but to be fair, I'd feel the same about Hilary because Goldman Sachs would still be in the white house like it always is anyway.

I actually think Trump wanted the "title" of president more than anything else. He himself even admitted governing is a lot harder than he thought. And despite what he says now, I have no doubt that he thought he would never win. In fact, I believe he never thought he would even make it through the primaries.

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

There's plenty of concern for Trump's victims, the Dems simply have no power at present to halt the damage the GOP is doing.

Re: The "Un-American Right". All hate, all hipocrisy and absolutely no idea how to go

Silly statement, but even if we accepted the premise as true, the GOP isn't spending much time on gay and black issues. They're spending time, along with democrats "investigating" wisps. They aren't spending time on the indigent because they're spending time on the indignant. Instead of legislating and governing, the federal government is doing what it does best. Stupid ****.

Well, it looks like we are WAY past Trump's "first 100 days" to do all of these miraculous things and outside of filling a stolen Supreme Court seat, there has been nothing accomplished of any benefit to the country whatsoever.

First up we have the Republican debacle of the AHCA. Republicans have only had EIGHT plus years to arrive at some type of consensus as to how to fix the problems with Obamacare (which they could have done easily over the past two years, but decided to let a certain segment of the country suffer in order to use Obamacare as a major campaign issue). Sadly, it worked. Now, the Senate (with no Democratic input whatsoever), is trying to craft something under the "cover of darkness". EXACTLY, how our democracy is supposed to work. Not!.

Where are we with that much needed Muslim ban? I mean the one that is likely not needed and was the work brain child of our resident and "white supremacist/racist" co-president Bannon. Yes, I mean the one that has already been struck down Twice by the Courts and will likely be struck down by the SC as well. Now, before you "hypocritical Righties tell me how much we need to be protected by terrorists, tell me outside of the "fake news" Bowling Green Massacre, when is the last time - since 9/11 - that we have experienced a coordinated terrorist attack in this country?

How about that Mexican Wall that MEXICO is going to pay for? Where is that?
How about the "much needed" tax reform bill?. where is that?
Wasn't Trump supposed to repeal NAFTA? Where is that?

I seem to remember Trump telling us all that if we elected Clinton, we would be electing a president that would be mired in controversy. Looks like we did elect a president that is, and will for some time, remain mire in controversy. And 99% of Trump's troubles are self inflicted wounds as a result of "rookie" mistakes that he continues to make. If anyone in the WH had enough "backbone" to tell Trump "NO", then his WH might actually be able to work on something substantive instead of constantly being in a state of damage control.

The bottom line s that that Republican have no idea how to govern for anyone other than the wealthy and privileged. They now control the House, Senate and White House and yet cant seem to get anything of substance passed within the chambers that they now control. Even when they are trying to pass something, they do it without hearings and under the "cover of darkness" because they know full well that their agenda will hurt many more Americans than it will help.

If Republicans would stop spending so much time "hating" gays, LGBT's, and poor black folks, and actually start "caring" about suffering and hungry children, the elderly and the indigent, then they might actually be able to improve their image and actually accomplish something. Sadly, I am not going to hold my breath. There is still way too much money for Republicans to make by screwing over the "working class" voters for them to start thinking about anyone other than themselves.

That said, rest assured that the overwhelming MAJORITY of them will certainly be seated on the front row at their local place of worship this Sunday morning. It is an unwritten rule of Republican politics that they "be seen" attending services. They believe that it somehow bolsters their image of "religious superiority". They could not be more mistaken.

Schummer won't let them because he is afraid of his intimidating left wing. He doesn't want them camping on his door step. They may as well have taken him prisoner. The safe course is no course.
