Conservative hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Conservatives always defend violence by their own people. They always refuse to condemn it. They always make sure their narrative only talks about retaliatory violence by liberals. There are no Conservative pundits out there condemning murders and violent attacks by Conservatives.

Conservatives spent 8 years making up lies about Obama, right down to accusing him of being a Kenyan Muslim. They burned and hung him in effigy and Republicans in Congress filibustered and obstructed every move Obama made, and even openly declared that they would obstruct him. They made racist jokes about him and mocked him in every possible way, even going so far as to get mad at Michelle Obama for baring her arms. There was zero condemnation of this behavior from any pundits on the Right.

Now they are whining because liberals show Trump the same respect that Trump himself showed Obama.

Conservatives always want more respect for the law and for their leaders than they ever give the opposition. And they're mad because they aren't getting it.

The main difference is that conservatives had a clear cut message against Obama. Liberals have absolute no message, so they have resorted to being obstructionists.

Case in appoint the Paris treaty. Obama illegally agreed to the paris agreement when he refused to get it passed through the Senate. Most Democrats and liberals derided the agreement as a non-binding agreement lacking commitments.

Now the Democrats and liberals are mad at Trump for opting out of the same Treaty they didn't want to adpot anyway when Obama was president.

None of this is even material to the issue of the insane disrespect that Conservatives have thrown at Obama, or the violence that right wingers have engaged in, which goes far beyond liberal vandalism and punches to the face and has escalated to mass stabbings and shootings.

I think a honest person would look at recent history with a very perplexed look on their face after seeing the shenanigans of people in both parties.

Democrats are not burning or hanging Presidents in effigy. Democrats are not inviting people to dinner after they issued death threats to the President. They're also not gunning down foreigners and stabbing people to death screaming about the evil Muslims or get out of my country, etc. Democrats are not getting busted by the FBI for plotting to use radiation weapons against Muslims or plotting to massacre brown people in churches. Democrat voters are not the ones facing the death penalty for having shot up churches.

Wait, so the left creates flames with rhetoric, only to extinguish them with partisanship? How does that work? I like the sound of your metaphor, just not certain of the meaning... Would partisanship not also fuel the fire? Wouldn't partisan be a describer for the rhetoric? Perhaps having an extinguisher in your analogy of how the left likes to fan the flames is the confusing part. Interested to know more.
