I guess it is okay if you want to believe "alternative facts"!

I guess I have no problem with people believing alternative facts. I mean I can't stop them from doing so and they will do so whether I agree with them or not. The latest alternative fact had to do with what the Mayor of London said about not being alarmed by the added police presence on London street. The alternative fact being that Trump said the Mayor meant that people shouldn't be alarmed because of the terrorist attacks on Britain. Now if you watched the actual film of what the Mayor said it was obvious he was talking about not being alarmed at the added police presence. Many from the GOP and from con radio and TV pushed Trump's tweets, those being the alternative fact, that the mayor was talking about not being alarmed because of the terrorist attack. I guess you can believe which fact you agree with and it won't change anything. I guess with today's politics, there are no "real facts", just the truth and alternative facts and people will believe the facts determined by their politics.

The corollary to that is that Trumpeteers will never, but never ever believe that their hero said or did anything wrong. He could go out and shoot someone, and not lose any votes.

You know, an objective listener/viewer would understand that Conway's use of the phrase "alternative facts" meant there are people on the left who believe lies, which would be best described as "alternative facts".

It's hysterical these types have grabbed ahold of this appropriately assigned phrase, and try to apply it in a way their rulers spun it at the time.

So, the only accurate comment you made in your post here is your last sentence.

Sounds like opinions, not facts. He said what he said and people have different opinions of how to interpret it. The mayors words are facts, what they mean or what he was thinking is an opinion.
 
So you think that Trump was right in his belief that the Mayor Of London was saying that people of Britain should not be alarmed at terrorist attacks? Have you watched the video and still believe that to be true? Then you certainly believe in alternative facts>
 
This same mayor has said those living in a large city should expect the occasional terrorist act. Looks as though he's set the tone.

Yet honesty, reason, context -- these things continue to matter despite Trump and his apologists continuing efforts to obfuscate. Trump lied about the London mayor; only morons believe Trump.

Alternative facts: Obama was born in Kenya. Millions of illegal aliens voted for Hillary. Thousands of Muslims in the US danced in the streets after the attack of 9/11. The Mayor of London said people shouldn't be concerned about terrorism.

Alternative facts. People still believe them. They didn't come from the left unless you consider our current president to represent the left.

Why bring those up? Should I post the mountain of "alternate facts" invented from various "sources" that have been proven to be lies?

The invention of the meme came about because of a confrontational interview with Conway and a discussion about the number of people who attended the inauguration on the National Mall.

The hack she was being interviewed by claimed the President lied, and Conway was attempting to explain the differences between the narrative the hack was pushing, and totals others were using.

Should I post the transcript?

She used a poor choice of words for "difference of opinion", no question, but the left seized on the phrase and have used it for all sorts of lame claims.

They were facts, none the less.

I won't argue it wasn't a really poor choice of words, but the facts are what they are, and they get destroyed, as usual, by the left, and a new meme was born, perfect for the gullible to run with.

As to your question, it absolutely fits you. So why do you persist with such a method of debate?
