I guess I have no problem with people believing alternative facts. I mean I can't stop them from doing so and they will do so whether I agree with them or not. The latest alternative fact had to do with what the Mayor of London said about not being alarmed by the added police presence on London street. The alternative fact being that Trump said the Mayor meant that people shouldn't be alarmed because of the terrorist attacks on Britain. Now if you watched the actual film of what the Mayor said it was obvious he was talking about not being alarmed at the added police presence. Many from the GOP and from con radio and TV pushed Trump's tweets, those being the alternative fact, that the mayor was talking about not being alarmed because of the terrorist attack. I guess you can believe which fact you agree with and it won't change anything. I guess with today's politics, there are no "real facts", just the truth and alternative facts and people will believe the facts determined by their politics.
IMO, Trump supporters are too stupid to understand real facts. So, I forgive them for clinging to alternate ones.
