To answer your question I can't decipher it. Honestly, the last sentence in quotation marks you provided, from the Columbus Journalism Review I assume, is nonsensical to me.

I voted for Obama the first time by the way. I've only ever not voted for a Democrat two times in my life actually. And that was only for Presidential elections. In terms of local city elections (Milwaukee) I've only ever voted for Democrats. And I was never one to ridicule Obama for not being "strong enough" against Putin. A lot of Republicans criticisms of Obama when he was in office were contradictory. On one hand they would accuse him of running the country like a king or tyrant, and later turn around and accuse him of not being involved in the running of the country at all, being lazy, vacationing, golfing, and just not caring to be active as the executive leader.

My problem with Obama in terms of his relations with Putin and Russia is simply that I think he was wrong in pursuing a hostile and supremacist policy against Russia and its remarkable leader. If feel the same way about Republicans like McCain.

I'm a fan of Tusli Gabbard and think she would make a fine President for the United States of America. So, I'm not sure who your are talking about in that last sentence of yours as you are the one who speaks hateful of President Vladimir Putin. Basically, I'm more sympathetic to the coalition of the Hezbollah, Iranian, and Syrian Arab Republic. So, I don't know how you construe "Islamaphobia" out of that. Al-Sisi of Egypt is Muslim and I think well of him. I also dislike that Gaddafi (Muslim as well) was overthrown and lynched by Al Qaida forces armed and paid by the USA (under Hillary and Obama). An African country that was thrown into hell because of that.

You know, Americans ought really take a good look in the mirror and stop talking about how Catholics "worship" the Pope. The sanctions are immoral and illegal. Russia is a member of the UN Security Council and if Russia votes to not have sanctions imposed on itself then no nation of the UN can impose sanctions on Russia.

Economic sanctions are a modern form of siege warfare. They inflict more suffering on the average people and on a nations children then they do on the elites. It's a means of hoping the people in the nation sanctions are imposed upon choose to oust or kill their leader or leaders.

Basically, the United States finances an empire. But empires are expensive to run. Look at the Brits today, they live better than they did when they ran an empire during the 19th century. If they had to run an empire today they would probably cut a lot of money from their domestic welfare programs. Currently, if you're 25 years-old and male in the UK and out of the workforce because you have an heroin or crack addiction, the Government of the UK will provided you free tax payer funded housing (the projects). I think they also will give you an income.

Not only are empires expensive to run they can be a vulnerability if your outposts are attacked in multiple countries, and to defend the outposts of the empire this can cause a country to burn through money and eventually financially break itself.

The Russians I think have like 4 or 7 military bases outside of Russia. That is nothing compared to how many bases the US has outside mainland USA.

However, the Russians are preparing for a US attack on Russia and therefore put money into upgrading the Russian military defense. Which requires a good offense too. But they don't have the vast money to blow like the USA so they use their money more prudently and supposedly have developed very good weapon systems. Think of it kind of like how US cars from Detroit were produced during the 1980s vs the cars Japan produced in the 1980s.

Money under the table, deals under the table, all bad enough that literally every one of scum bags cronies have lied about their relationship with dozens of meeting with Putin intelligent agents.

Okay then, if you can show me the same evidence that he actually does all of that, then I will agree. I will admit that he is an ass, that he needs to moderate himself more, that he needs to let twitter go without him for five ****ing minutes, and maybe stop shooting from the hip at every obstacle in his path. There is only one country who has weapons that exceed the abilities of this countries weapons. Not in number but in quality as far as its lethality is concerned. I have to add , I said the hate party just months ago said that Russia and Putin were a major enemy and massive amounts of verbiage was thrown into the idea that our military needs billions more because of the threat of Putin and Russia.
