Does your personality manifest itself in your political beliefs?

In elementary school, I always enjoyed telling other kids they were stupid, egging them on until they attacked me, and then beating them up for it. In Jr High and High School, I enjoyed challenging the views of my teachers, egging them on until they kicked me out of class. In college, I was too busy trying to solve equations and understand technical concepts to play mind games. But, first thing I did when I got married was egg on my wife until she threw an ashtray at my head.
