I should be rather obvious at this point to anyone - other than the most loyal of supporters - that Trump's own worst enemy is Trump himself.
His oversized ego and thin skin simply won't allow him to let things go and take the higher road. He has this incessant need to lash out about anything negative and most anyone who says anything negative. He displays the classic "bully" mentality, but cowls down in most any actual confrontation.
In many ways, Trump's actions remind me of the old saying we learned as kids that the "guilty party always speaks first". He wants so desperately to have us believe that he is innocent, that he actually makes himself look more guilty in the process.
