Leftists do not want a full investigation. Leftists will absolutely **** themselves about the efforts to find the leaks, the leakers, who ordered what unmasked, and anything NOT related to trying to ensure Trump is found guilty of something.

If the investigation turns up transgressions in the Obama administration in reference to the Russian meddling I'd be good with it. This kind of stuff can't be allowed to go on no matter what the letter is behind their names.

What we have here, and this is really going to ****em up, is there is evidence of an actual crime, but we don't know who's guilty. With the Russian Connection there's no evidence of a crime, only the people the Libbos want to be guilty.

Nothing's going to happen.

1. The folks being subpoenaed won't show up and if the do the only thing they'll say is "5th Amendment".

2. Nobody wants to be the guy that indicted the first "black" president.

I have always said pretty much the exact same thing as azgreg above...do the complete investigation. Both sides. Let em dangle.

Let's say in 2020 President Hillary (or Bernie or whoever) beats Trump and takes over. The GOP is CERTAIN there is collusion between this new President and admin, colluding with China! So they get a big old investigation and hoopla and basically what you see at Trump by the Media at this new Democrat Admin.

And it backfires in the GOP's face.

That would, be funny, ironically dark funny and would make me sad, but I could still laugh at the moment, even if it made me cry.
 
I don't consider it a diversion as much as an expansion. If the purpose of all these inquires are to see if any laws were broken and if do bring those people to justice, than this should be welcomed as good news.
If the inquiries are nothing more than partisan witch hunts uninterested in finding the truth only to be used as a smear campaign for mid term elections, then stop them immediately.

I can certainly find humor in innocence, but not necessarily guilt.

If President Obama or his administration broke laws in their investigations, i would be extremely disappointed.
 
This Unmasking Criminal activity will be the undoing of the Far-Lefties and what little remains of the Democratic Party.

I can't say I'll be sorry to see the Democratic Party die, nor will I miss the Radical Lefties.

BUT! That does not mean that America does not NEED a party to represent the interests of the Pragmatic, Centrist, Working Citizens.

There must be a counter to the Wealthy and Corporate Management Interests, largely represented by the GOP, in American Politics.

Let the ubber-Corrupt, sickenly Ethnocentric, Official Power Abusing, Democratic Party choke and die!, but we need to get onto the task of building a replacement NOW!

It's the cringing sycophantic Trump supporters who are forced to turn a blind eye and pretend nothing's actually worth looking into.

Perhaps, but that's why Susan Rice will be the "Designated Fall Girl", the scape goat to take the Ire and the Criminal Blame... and both sides, R & D, of the establishment win with that arrangement, so politically, that's what will be done.

It won't be Rule-of-Law, or JUSTICE, but it will preserve the interests of the Establishment.

That's okay, we can be different but still get along.

I get amusement from some of the allegations and political positions, but when i consider the possibility that President Trump might actually be guilty of some of them, i find it truly saddening.
