Chances are they won't find anything really serious, but if they find out anything Trump is being accused of was far worse during the Obama administration, and if the MSM could just make that a headline, I could be happy for some time to come.

Nonsense.

The investigations are an extension of ongoing counter intelligence investigations into Russia's evidenced interference in the U.S. election.
Since Russia is a foreign power, it's counter intelligence...were you thinking the FBI was going to charge Putin and ask him to stand trial in a U.S. court?

The fact that so many Trump staffers/appointees, had connections to the Russians that are under investigation, is relevant, and being investigated under that umbrella.

That Trump keeps intentionally doing things on his own, that make him and those around him, look guilty of a crime, looks really bad, is his own damn fault, and no one of sound mind would claim otherwise.

You aren't being clear.
There is plenty of evidence that Russia hacked the DNC committed data theft, and otherwise interfered in our election (using a wide range of tactics).
That's the primary investigation.

It expanded to include Team-trump because of all the crazy ties and behavior of team-trump with regards to the investigation/Russia. Some of which may be criminal, but certainly looks extremely crazy and suspicious.

The larger issue here is we've seen Trump's behavior on display for months now, and he looks to be incompetent, a pathological liar, and ignorant, and very unpopular. <- that's more scary than the DNC hack.

yeah, that's exactly how it works. First their is a suspicion of crime, it's why they are called suspects. Suspicion, suspect, the similarity of those two words didn't clue you in. An investigation is used to either confirm the suspicion or exonerate the suspect. Trump is suspected of a crime, an investigation was called to either confirm the alleged violation of law, or prove his innocence.

Pretending like Trump is just being singled out, and that the circumstances doesn't make him look suspicious is ridiculous. If I thought you had any credibility left, it would be gone now.
