Looks like the WH is in full "clean up" mode after the NATO debacle. In fact, it appears that diplomats, attachés have been apologizing to their foreign counterparts by saying, 'We are sorry for his comments. He is just an idiot".

What I find most interesting is how comfortable Trump looked in Sadia Arabia, where the Saudis put a gigantic picture of Trump on the side of the hotel where Trump was staying. Obviously, they were "playing" to Trump's vanity in order to obtain favorable military deals.

Compare that to how uncomfortable Trump looked in Europe where the Europeans have a much less favorable view of Trump. Instead of embracing the opportunity, Trump used the platform to admonish our allies and shove the Montenegro Ambassador out of his way to ensure he was "front and center" during a phot-op.

I for one will be glad to see Trump back in DC. Before he can do further damage abroad.

You cannot clean up that mess. The damage has already been done by an incompetent amateur who represents a great security threat to the entire world. He must be removed from power ASAP.

I dunno.

Dealing with Trump is like dealing with a really screwed-up problematic person, that is so deficient that when they do something marginally barely passable, you feel the need to breath a sigh of relief and praise them even though they're otherwise unworthy of praise.

Far easier to get rid of the problem IMO, but we're kinda' stuck here for now.

What happened at NATO?

(I haven't read much news in a couple days.)

I know. It makes my head hurt, I guess from all the cringing I've had to do.

Yeah, we've all dealt with a bad coworker or associate like that.

But this guy is now not only our partner, but our leader for 4 years. We can't just fire him or disassociate ourselves from him. And worse yet, he has substantial power and control over our lives!

Argh!

Trump spouted Putin's lines of course, what else would you expect. He chided and embarassed small nations publicly for not spending enough while failing to restate our nations pledge to honor article 5. All while standing at the 911 memorial which ironically is the only time article 5 was invoked. Then afterwards he pushed the ambassador to Montenegro away in a photo-op so he could stand in front with his Mussolini face. It was a disgusting show.

Wrong. Our Constitution has provided ways to rid ourselves of this mistake whenever we choose. Trump has already committed impeachable offenses and the Congress will not be able to hold them off forever.

I think that's unlikely, but always possible I guess.

But I don't see the GOP going against him, as long as he holds his current strong approval numbers within the GOP rank & file (80+%).

As long as he signs their crap legislation and their rank & file approve of him, they're good. And the rank & file still very much approve of him, and he seems willing to sign as of yet.

They won't get anything thru with Trump's approval at 35% and it only a matter of time when they will tire of the excuses they keep having to make for him. Wait until the trials of his cohorts start. Trump will be toast.

Why wouldn't they get anything through? He'll sign whatever they put on his desk. He needs his name on things to feed his ego. Right now he has nothing but EOs.

44 men have been President before Trump. Nine of them did not finish a term that they started. Admittedly, some were like Lincoln who had already served full term or like FDR who was in his fourth term and had already completed three. But the fact remains that there is a 20% chance that a President does not finish a term he is serving if we look at their entire tenure in office.

So we have a 20% chance that Trump exits early according purely to the numbers based on previous Presidents.

In Trumps case, I would view that as far closer to 50/50.

How many left office while having time left to serve while still alive.

It's time for some disinfectant in the WH because some folks are crapping in their pants!

Shameful piece of garbage. Go home Trump. You don't even want this.

He has the mental instability to start a nuclear war, that is what bothers me the most. Absent of that, he is merely just another idiot.

Do you have any evidence for that?
