He was even born in the UK. From what I know, he traveled to the ME and came back. So, to prevent this sort of thing, we would literally have to ban all round trip travel to Middle East.

yeah or you can just be more thorough with immigrants/"migrants" coming in. additionally don't import a ton of people so they form their own small communities in your own country... the same small communities who will not report suspicious activity because it might be their friend.

also need to acknowledge that Islam is a religion that is very prone to radicalization especially against the west. The west in recent years hasn't had a great track record in the ME to be sure but that is the work of paid politicians hunting for oil not your average citizen.

Islam has issues. But, saying their radicalized hatred is focused on the West is not really true. They don't much like each other either. In fact most Islamic violence is interfaith--street fighting wars among Muslims--one faction killing the other.

Great question! Why do we still need a "temporary" Muslim ban at this point?

Surely the Trump administration has completed its "review to determine the information needed from any country to adjudicate any visa, admission, or other benefit under the INA (adjudications) in order to determine that the individual seeking the benefit is who the individual claims to be and is not a security or public-safety threat" required by the EO within the time allotted.

So what's the rationale for continuing to pursue a "temporary" Muslim ban?

appeal to emotion arguments are not good way to start.
I seriously doubt calamity thinks this at all.

where calamity and again the judges are wrong is that it is within the power of the government to do this more so the president.
this will go to the SCOTUS and they should overturn all of these rulings pretty easily more so with Obama doing the very same thing.

also he is wrong in that this is a muslim ban. this is not a muslim ban. it is a travel restriction of 4 countries the other 30 some muslim
countries are free to travel here with no restrictions at all.

however these facts would get in the way of his ranting.

The legal argument that this is just a travel restriction involving four specific countries went out the window though when Trump clearly stated that his intent was to ban Muslims. Let me try explaining this with an analogy.

After a few beers, I tell my neighbor that my wife is a **** who should be shot. A week later, I shoot my wife dead. I call the cops and say, I shot my wife after she came at me with a kitchen knife. Well, it kind of makes life miserable for my defense attorney who is arguing self defense when the prosecution calls my neighbor to stand who testifies that I told him my wife is a **** who should be shot.

That's exactly the predicament Trump put himself in.
