I have a theory less dramatic than Alzheimer's or dementia. Trump is full of himself like no one I've ever seen, and here he suddenly is being "The President". I think maybe he doesn't know how to fit his self absorbed mountain of flab into this new, amazing persona. In that tape from the 90's he could be the guy he's used to being. Now he can't, or he thinks he can't, and the confusion is throwing him off and turning him into a muddle.

On the topic of coaching Trump, given that Trump has shot himself (and his staff) in the foot more times than I can count with quick, immediate, honest from the heart answers, it opens the possibilities that he's learning to become a politician and / or a more polished one at that.

Perhaps the staff, or someone really brave from staff, actually pointed out that if he kept going like he was, there wasn't going to be a staff, or something to that effect.

I guess we'll see how he fields press questions and interviews over the next few weeks and see how things develop from here.

Actually if you think about it makes sense.
Trump knows what...about 150 to 200 words...his entire Lexicon usage! And as you get older you4 cognitive power would deteriorate! So obviously however few gray matter you start with, you end up with even less grey matter. So his 150 words library of vocabulary is shrinking rapidly.

At the current rate, We would end up with a president that has nothing to say but the word "UGH!"

And of course the Trump supporters would still argue...But that is not what he meant!!!

Agreed.

I didn't particularly like it when some went there with Hillary, nor Pelosi.

If Trump is tired, he should take the time he needs to get the rest he needs. Doesn't sound like it would be much. If recently, as in the last few days, it may be due to his international travels. Does seem like he's kept a frenetic schedule, and he's not done yet. Belgium to go.

My niece, a speech pathologist, insists Trump is having trouble talking, and she voted for him.

Oh...yeah...you're right. That lady IS a Democrat. No matter. She's got problems...and if Trump ever ends up like her...THEN I'll worry about him.
