Unimportant, but odd.

Apparently there has been an kerfuffle over a law firms wikipedia page concerning Trump being on their client list. The odd thing is, they keep changing it back. And it appears that a Trump supporter is doing the editing.

Why?

Does this make any sense to anyone?

the kerfuffle

I think if the moderator at Wiki knows that Trump is a client is a fact with a resource included and the idiot doesn't delete that resource, the Mod can always link back to it because he didn't delete it from the references section

It doesn't make any sense. If this were really a Trump planned move then Trump's name would have been removed weeks before Trump announced Lieberman was in the running. Nobody would have noticed.

Whoever is trying to edit the page is aware of how the optics look. It seems unbelievably silly now. Changing a wiki page doesn't change reality, and the cat is out of the bag as to the attempt to change the page anyway.

This seems on par with if I tried editing the wiki page on the 9/11 attack to remove mentions of airliners or Arab terrorists.
