President close to hiring special counsel for himself

I can't blame him for that. If you're under investigation, you want to have your legal bases covered.
 
Trumps tends to say and do some fairly dumb things. You really don't want to do things like that when there is a special council snooping around.
 
I would certainly have a team of lawyers already if I was him, guilty or innocent.



I happen to think that there is a good reason he's a target, but the quality of reason doesn't matter to a target.
 
Yes, a personal counsel, not a special counsel.

A special counsel may well becoming after His Orangeness.
