Pentagon plans to 'annihilate' IS fighters

You are right, sir, we need to just keep on indiscriminately bombing the middle-east. It's bound to start working any decade now. And I mean, the good news is that it's not like it costs anything.

You are right. We as a society do not have the stomach for the necessities of making peace and the Un hasn't the votes to enforce it.

Why, Trump must be an utter genius if nobody in the entire armed forces thought of that before he was elected.

(Is there an emoticon for laughing so hard one vomits?)









Anyway, since hypocrisy is flying high and proud these days, I have to point out things like:

1. Obama was criticized for drone strikes;

2. Obama was criticized for every other anti-terror effort;

3. Obama was criticized for any increase in troops anywhere vaguely related to terror.






(I wonder if this is like the last message board I was at, where his critics said "yeah yea, good on him" after he killed OBL, but by the very next day thought of ways to use it to attack him. ie, "oh, it was just a political stunt - he was waiting and putting Americans at risk so he could have it announced after he roasted Trump over Trump's utterly idiotic and committed Birtherism at the c.dinner"

Did that happen here?).

Bombing the crap out of isis is not going to work, never has. What would work is if america teamed up with russia even temporarily to fight a common enemy, which would require russia to be more strict on rules of engagement, while looking the other way on shia militias from iran lebanon iraq syria etc.

We could always go back to being enemies afterwards, but there is an entire list of enemies of isis who would glady work together to take them out, and even if they are on bad terms with us or vice versa, they all unite on that one cause, and taking out the bigger threat is more important than trying to fight isis while at the same time trying to fight all the enemies of isis.
