Let's see how fast the trump MAGA crowd throws one of their old heroes under the bus...

Ann Coulter Calls 'Grotesque' Donald Trump A Disappointment

Erstwhile staunch Donald Trump booster Ann Coulter has called the president “grotesque” and disappointing as she appeared poised to bail on him even before The Washington Post reported Monday that he leaked classified information to the Russians.

“Everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque,” but it was the issues, the conservative commentator and author told The Daily Caller in an interview Sunday. Now, as far as the issues go, “boy, things don’t look good,” she said.

“I’m not very happy with what has happened so far,” Coulter added. “I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But ... if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out.”

“Where is the great negotiation?” she asked. “That budget the Republicans pushed through was like a practical joke.… Did we win anything?”

She even called developments in the administration a “disaster so far.”

OK. So if Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh abandon him will House Republicans?

What is she complaining about? She got exactly what she wanted.

If you can draw a link to their money sources abandoning them, then they'll back out from under trump.

Hey, this is exactly what's needed!

I'm no fan of hers, but I welcome conservatives to the fight. The real problem is not principled conservatism, but the GOP! And what their general modus operandi allowed: A Trump takeover.

No matter how anti-establishment the country's mood, Trump could never have won the Dem nomination with his hate and division. But the GOP made themselves ripe for the taking. Now I'd love to see them get taken out, themselves!

How so? If you have to hold your nose, clearly what you're picking isn't "exactly" what you want.

Good God man. She put out a book proclaiming his excellence.

Just want them to do a clean reboot.

There are trump supporters but most seem to be anti-anti-trump supporters. Whatever pisses off their opposition is just fine with them as a direction to go in.

Have you read this book? Was it about his excellence, or why he would win? Are you sure In Trump We Trust wasn't instead about why he is her pick?

I think you may not know what you're talking about. He was not "exactly what she wanted" by any standard.

Some people feel compelled to defend the President from unfair criticisms, even if they don't support him, because they care about whats true.

Seriously, there is so much wrong with the man, valid criticisms you could make, so why resort to bull****?

Yes - but she's seeing she made a Faustian choice, and betrayed her conservative principles.

She should be encouraged to try to right her error, and influence others (conservatives) to do so as well.

I'm no conservative, but I can respect principled conservative thought. I even embrace some in my personal life. Conservatives are likely getting as pissed-off as the rest of the country.

Perhaps they'll come to see the problem has now become the GOP. Trump can be checked or even dispatched. But the GOP won't do it, but rather they aid and abet him. It may come back to haunt them.

Ann Coulter has no principles. She just says whatever will get her the most attention.

Heh.

Maybe I let myself get conned, in trying to find a glimmer of hope?

But I still think we need to encourage conservatives to dump Trump.

And then what? Do you really think it is a great idea to encourage 4 years of a failed presidency? Do you think he will just 'quit'?

You know what would be awesome? If the GOP in he house and senate did their jobs. It would also be really cool if the rat party did their jobs. Obama spent 8 years governing by Executive Order. Why? Because even with majorities in the house and senate, the Legislative Branch failed to do their job. Now we have a GOP president and GOP majorities in the house and senate...an they are still failing to do their job. When was the last time we had the most basic job accomplished by congress...passage of an actual budget?

Its been said numerous times. This election was not a celebration of Trump...it was the selection of the lesser of two evils. But considering an inept congress, celebrating the failure of the president is just stupid. What WAS his agenda? Jobs. Yes...you should want him to fail at that. Securing the border. Hey...why not celebrate the failure to enforce existing laws and the continuance of 4 decades of immigration failure that has led to 20-30 million illegal immigrants. Great call there. Stemming the flow of terrorists...yes...thats something that makes lot of sense to celebrate. Supporting the inner cities...meh...**** them...why should the inner cities get any help? Infrastructure...bah...we only care about infrastructure when it is a democrat banging that drum...**** Trump.

Yay....partisan politics.

A lot of Americans treat politics with the same degree of civic sanctity as whether they enjoy cheering on Rachel Maddow or Rush Limbaugh. They disappoint the republic.

Very few voted for Trump.

Many voted for Not-Hillary.

Where the GOP voters really failed was in the primaries.

Cruz won Texas, so we weren't part of the problem.
