Uh-oh. In an interview with the Daily Caller, Coulter said she's ready to jump ship:

Uhhhh. I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues.

...We had no choice. Yeah, I mean, my fingers are still crossed. It’s not like I’m out yet, but boy, things don’t look good. I’ve said to other people, “It’s as if we’re in Chicago and Trump tells us he’s going to get us to LA in six days. But for the first three days we are driving towards New York. Yes, it is true he can still turn around and get us to LA in three days, but I’m a little nervous. Ann Coulter Is Worried The 'Trump-Haters Were Right' | The Daily Caller

Either this post is a concern troll post, or nota bene is waking up to what he was warned about from the get go.

His Orange Hugeness is no conservative, no Republican, only an Alt Fact kind of guy only interested in power.

You guys were warned. He won't change.

"Coulter described herself as a single-issue voter during the election and was drawn to Trump due to his “Mexican rapist speech” and him calling for a border wall to be built."

This is a dark time for participatory democracy.

Don't ever accuse me of trolling; I don't troll. I posted this thread because Coulter was one of Trump's earliest supporters, and she is now expressing grave concern. I don't suppose that you actually read the linked article and/or the link to the NY Times op/ed with which she said she agreed, did you?

And I don't suppose it's possible for you to understand that another could have a relatively unbiased opinion about anything.

Ann Coulter saying McMaster - one of the few competent adults in Trump's daily orbit - sounds like a retard is hilarious. Coulter makes a living 'sounding retarded'.

She's obsessed with "the wall". Like that's all Trump needs to do and her fantasy Wonder Bread America that's been gone for ~60 years will return.

nota bene, I have every right to point an X or Y situation. You say you are not trolling, and based on your answer, I agree. Yes, you were all warned such a long time ago that he is a progressive demo lite and that all he wanted was you vote.

Will you support his impeachment process when it begins?

"When"? I don't know your age but hope that you are politically mature enough to appreciate how grave impeachment is.

And there is no "you all," only me. I am a conservative, not a Republican, and I have stated only a zillion times now that while I was not a Trump supporter, I do support the Office of the Presidency and its holder (as much as possible).

Try to accept that there really are people who aren't blinded by partisanship or boxed in by the either/or fallacy.

I would support his impeachment, if at such time there were incontrovertible evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors. Thus far, no such evidence has been produced.

But please, don't let that stand in the way of your delusional wishful thinking. No, in fact, I encourage you and your ilk to continue behaving like petulant children.

She's abandoning ship because Trump hasn't been xenophobic enough? Is she not aware of the private immigration detention centers that are going to be built? Sessions? Who thinks the browning of America is America's #1 problem?

wtf does she want? A new "white is right" federal bureacracy?

Yeah, pretty much.

nota's good people, even if we don't see eye-to-eye.

What's your argument about impeachment being too grave a decision based on? Trump is displaying his disrespect for American institutions and lack of temperament, and lack of general historical knowledge, on the daily.

Are you concerned that if we somehow lucked out, and removed Trump from office, that would set a bad precedent? A precedent of, "If you don't like the other party's candidate, just hound dog them until congress impeaches?"

There is something there too. There's an FBI probe, that Trump brazenly interfered with. As someone in the middle, can you imagine if HRC, won the presidency, and then fired James Comey, before he had concluded her investigation. What would the GOP have done?

Act maturely: accept that Trump is a great danger to the Republic.

If Clinton had done what Trump has done with Comey, if the tables were reversed, we would have an armed revolution on our hands.

You silly goof. You were warned about Trump, and now you are doing the "nuh uh" petulant child defense. Yes, impeachment was serious. I was there for Nixon and Clinton, and Trump is certainly in their league. Please, act maturely: accept that Trump is a great danger to the Republic.

Melodramatic nonsense.

I'm pretty sure you'd call the evidence "fake news" ;)

The trouble is that it's a little late to decide one is actually "out." It also doesn't really mean anything until 2020, anyway. The damage is done. He is President.

We're stuck with this ineffectively spastic slimeball unless the GOP is willing to impeach one of its own, and who knows what he'd have to do to piss them off that much.

If you want an impeachment alls you have to do is get Trump under oath. He will perjure himself 20x over.. and likely end the questioning early, due to lack of ability to be honest.

Yeah, I don't know what FOX news is usually like, but amidst all this, if this is their top story on political:
TALE OF THE TAPE
If Trump recorded Comey, he likely broke no law, say experts
In other words, when Trump stupidly fired Comey, and then released stupid fake reasons, and the retracted those, and then stupidly insulted Comey, and then stupidly threatened him with "tapes".. those tapes *may have been legal*
Talk about using a magnifying glass to try and find one glimmer of gold in a pile of crap.

The tide does seem to be turning for the supporters.

Indeed. Republicans are all against progressive experimentation on social programs designed to help the nation. But when it comes to the President, they just doubled down like it was nothing. Coulter did one better, she bet it all not just on Trump, but apparently just on the ****ing wall.

Really? Bet the POTUS on the wall!?

Well, some of them are starting to cry uncle too now.

Mr. Person and you are hitting the notes, yes. Impeachment can only happen if the mainstream GOP with full commitment by McConnell and Ryan. Meaning they will do it their own time and manner.

the anti brown crowd is nothing new. we went through an anti catholic thing when they first started coming in. it'll pass meanwhile the white hate crowd is just wasting energy. hell, new england came close to seceding when the US bought louisiana.

None of what you've listed qualifies as “treason, bribery, and other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Are you concerned that if we somehow lucked out, and removed Trump from office, that would set a bad precedent? A precedent of, "If you don't like the other party's candidate, just hound dog them until congress impeaches?"

That really would set a terrible precedent, wouldn't it?!

There is something there too. There's an FBI probe, that Trump brazenly interfered with. As someone in the middle, can you imagine if HRC, won the presidency, and then fired James Comey, before he had concluded her investigation. What would the GOP have done?

Given the current bitter partisanship, it probably would've had a cow and a kitten too. But keep in mind that the Dems weren't exactly thrilled with Comey and then did a 180.

Probably, but I do find it interesting that she's at least not being suckered by the lies any longer.

Could happen sooner. I could see the Reps losing both houses of Congress in the midterms.

Perhaps, but I think that it would not be a very effective move at that point. It'd be far too transparent of a rather late ass-covering maneuver.
